look guys, theses moves are preformed by trained men. meaning you watch it one and exspect to use it in a real fight, it's not going to work. you need alot of practice to use it in a reaL FIGHT. and it's hard to pull theses kinda moves when you have no xp in the sport. BTW good vid guys you did good.
@weigled I strongly disagree with you dude, if you are constantly thinking about opportunities and you tap into your knowledge in a real fight situation this comes up quite often in fights, (of course, depending on your style) I weight around 95kg at the moment, and my first move is always to bear hug and throw my opponent to the ground, from there, you usually end up in a position similar to what hes doing. if at that moment you remember this, you can fuck your opp big time. xp or not.
good thorough instruction - In catch wrestling we drop the hips completely to the floor and the choke is much deeper and for an extra bonus you can dip the shoulder and hip ( closest to the head ) straight to the floor pulling your clasped hands toward your body and being on your toes to allow the inside hip to touch the floor.
Great instruction. I watched this weeks ago, and pulled it off in class today. My partner literally said "I didn't know what you were doing until I was in the choke."
Hey guys, Thanks for the good words. For those that appreciate the technique, great....for those that don't, sorry! ha ha. I was asked to do this on the spot by WI combat Sports and didn't really have anything prepared, it was my first time doing video instruction, so I was worried that I would leave out details. I'm pretty detail oriented when teaching, and knew there may be questions..hence the long windedness. Hope you guys get this to work for you.
@SuccessMMA yh but from means to me where it starts from not where it ends i know it ends in that position but he didnt instigate it from north south thats what i mean !
good lesson, good for nubes and veterans. I like how he went in detail about how to get in position, it helps those who use this move to recognize what they may be doing wrong.
Another set up to Darce? If you grab your bicept and triangle your arms I'm pretty sure you go to darce.. Great set up tho.. Very high percentage if you keep close to the person as explained
all you suckas who are complaining about this guy taking too long and "id rather go to the mount bro" are fucking retards..probably the ones who are gonna get tapped faster than the rest cuz this is an OPTION!!!!Trying to tell me that ur instructors at ur home gym dont go into detail like this guy????I guarentee that i am gonna get this submission this weekend in LB at the Grapplers Quest...Bitches....come get some
Why use the term "retard" and write with such anger. That shows lack of compansion, lack of understanding and a lack of mentality. Many special needs individuals are born that way or because of injury. I know of no martial artist that has your tone or lack of respect. You are either mentally unstable or you have no grasp of respect.
@onetao8 I am sure your mother is proud of you. Why don't you show her how well versed you are with the English Language. Everything comes around full circle. You'll soon find out.
i train with mark and i can tell you that this is by far one of the highest percentage moves that he has taught me for two reasons. first being that once you understand the set up for this move you will see it everywhere, if you get the motion down you can snap it on very fast. second if they bridge into you (1lostinspace) you simply throw your far leg right over into mount, or if they turn away you take there back. also there is no evident bottom kimura, your reaching under there shoulder.
Booty has a point, not a practical move the reversal for a bottom kimura or a cross shoulder lock is too evident, nontheless it also places the attacker off balance if the bottom guy is moving around
this is a great move, but the explanation is too long for me. go through the move once and show it in its entirety, then explain the move in three segments. anyway, nice move wicombat and i will start trying this on guys. however, i disagree with the naysayers, i think this move has great potential and application.
My opinion, this is not an effective move if your opponent is attacking or even moving, this is only effective for sitten ducks, like his practice partner.
Too many steps for me. I rather use a technique requiring minimum time and effort, but with maximum results.
This is one of my favorite techniques, I subbed a guy in a fight with once. I like to sit out with it like in a reverse scarf hold and really crank the neck as I'm applying the choke...my bread and butter is chokes and other holds from the N/S position.
some people arent good at maintaining mount position. They may have short legs or bad balance due to something beyond their control like I do. So this is a good option. of course mount is there but thats not the point.
This was fukin retarded video man im surprised the guy on the floor didnt just reverse him n strt pounding his face in2 d mat 4 takin the piss
