For one the mass amounts of meth comes from Mexico, last time i checked Nevada does not border Mexico but California does. Legal brothels also use to be legal in many other states decades ago and don't forget Rhode Island they still have brothels to this day as well as Nevada.

These type of winter storms are a common occurrence in Washoe, almost every year we get something very similar to this... you ready? ummm, this happened when I first moved to Nevada, in 94-95, again in the 98-99 season, and again in the 05-06 season... I remember the 05-06 season because I was in it for 9 hours a night, yes, night, in the sub zero temperatures freezing my ass off, not having much fun :)
I made that same drive a little bit before 8am. There were snowplows escorting people through to make sure we were under 25mph. At least 10 cars went off the road, almost including myself.
People have no patience driving in winter weather around there
