  • i grew up around Detroit area they had those big beautiful homes and last time i was there they were burned and or all the windows were completely gone just disgusting how they were destroyed.

  • Landlords are known to intentionally destroy property(fire, etc.) to collect insurance payments. It became quite common in NYC.

  • CAUSES of HOMELESSNESS - Part II:

When I lived in Holland for 8 years in the 1990's, there were absolutely no homeless folks lying in the streets as in America. Why?

After World War II (about 1950) the Dutch began to build 50,000 to 100,000 affordable housing units a year. A half century later, the Dutch have affordable housing for everyone.

  • Do the Dutch have laws which prohibit, or means (i.e. tax) which discourages individuals purchasing numerous houses (including from the 16 corporations)? I mean, here in the UK, since in the inter war years, the state built huge quantities of council houses. But then Thatcher came along and encouraged people snap them up at low prices, and people including my old man, purchased huge quantities only to drive up prices and lease them out. In my opinion the cause of our shortages in housing.

  • CAUSES of HOMELESSNESS - Part I:

In America homelessness is considered a normal aspect of society that will always be with us. The victims (homeless folks) are blamed for being homeless. The homeless are categorized as drug addicts, or crazy, or bums. In fact, the great majority of the homeless are children. The majority of the homeless work but cannot find affordable housing. A majority are veterans from America's wars.

Homelessness is the result of a lack of affordable housing.

  • I am a big fan of Hogan. Same age, education and temperment. Keep up the good work.

  • I enjoy your videos... The dutch were the first to have global corporations, correct?

  • Correct!

  • Housing is a right, right along with health care and food. This does not entitle one to filet everynight, or a mansion, however.
