I made this last night and served it over black beans. We will be making this a LOT in times to come. I sort of stumbled when adding the cayenne, my husband asked me not to be so generous with it next time. Thank you so MUCH for taking the time to share your life and recipes with us! You're the first lady I've seen who is around my age and has actually lost that much weight by calorie restriction, and that is what I was searching for online. I want to be a skinny B too!
I have got to try this! I adore chicken fajitas and you make them well. Hey, I love the smell of cumin...BO, surely not! LOL! I wish I had a cooktop like yours. I will get a grill pan and try it. I think it's way more authentic than a skillet. ~ Laura : )
This looks amazing! I can't wait to try them. I have lost 70 or so pounds, and have a bit more to go, but I am working on it. One thing I have done is replace sour cream with fat free Greek yogurt. Not sure how that would work out calorie wise, but thought I would mention it. Thanks for the great videos!
I love how she have things.. is easy too look for.. i'm buying a small place and going to try too organize things.. that not use toomuch place and you give me an idea. the food look good too.
How do you figure out how many calories for that entire meal? Cause it seemed like a lot. Also, what would be 1 serving of something like that? Not the tortilla but the mixture you put together.
thanks for the nice soothing music, it looked great, i would have added the sour cream, its good for the digestion. i do my tortillas the same way, the man always yells at me for it. keep the recipes coming. you look great and keep up the good work.
Lovely, low cal, minimal chicken required and full of good veggies. I'll be trying this recipe using Indian flatbread which puffs up. I'll be using my new love-my Nuwave oven! Thanks, glad to have found you!
that is a HUGE spice drawer. I love your videos.... and now I want fajitas. I miss fajitas here in the UK.. cannot make em right... and cannot get the right spices.
i know you think your always wating very healthy, but just so you know, the FDA doesnt regulate what "organic" means things that say organic are the same generally and just cost more because people think they are healthy
I should do more cooking videos. I cook some pretty fantastic stuff... vegetarian recipes are great for showing you how to mix various spices and bring out the best in tastes.
Hi mom, Ok, bribe me. If I come what are you going to cook? I like the fajitas and halibut so far. I would like to come visit but I need to get the garden finished this weekend. If I can do it during the week (doubt it) then I can come. Maybe I can get up at 5am and go plant. It got up in the 90's today! It would be nice to come on Fri after work and leave Sat 5sh. If you keep making videos I won't need to visit cause I can watch you any time I want to! Only joking, but they are fun to watch.
Yummy, I like your pan. I tried a pan like yours but smaller and because the back burner is lower BTU's than the front, it wouldn't heat evenly. Nice vid mom!
I love your spice drawer! I've never seen anyone store their spices like that! I cooked something very similar to that the other night but I added broccoli and had no tortillas. Either way, it's delicious! That really looks good!
I have lots of spices, that drawer is full. The stove top is on a peninsula so there is no place to put them except in the drawer. I really do like them in there too.
Hey, your only a few thousand miles away, come on over. I just cooked dinner for tonight, the best darn pot roast I have ever made. Pot roast with a side of green beans, my dinner. Yummmy
oh those look good! I put mine in a baggie and let them marinate first might throw in a jalepeno too. You have to tell me whereyou got that big griddle??/ also love your bowls where didyou get them?/ didnt realize two breasts would make soo much.. thanks for the great video
Darn youtube I had to cut the story of the pan, to long. It is an All Clad griddle pan, you can get it at Amazon. There are two types grill with marks and this one the griddle type. I love them both.
The bowls are from a local potter. I have had them for years.
I wanted a Jalapeno in there but didn't have one.
I favorited this because i happen to have all the ingredients in my kitchen right now and im going to make this for lunch tomorrow. yummy! I dont have fresh salsa but i can make some once i find some cilantro at the japanese market
cumin smells like what?

I am a low calorie low carber.

An update video is being thought about.

I weigh what I eat. I cook several meals at a time. The husband takes some for lunch too.
I try to eat about 5 oz of protein for dinner plus veggies.
Notice there is no avocado or sour cream. :-)

wow, that looks yummy, i have to try this. Its a low calorie meal and it also looks good.
Do you use guacamole sometimes?? Its high in good fats.

18 bucks for chicken??
cocolite909 2 years ago
Yes, $18. It was also a lot of organic chicken breast. It was enough for several meals.
A whole chicken might be cheaper, but they are about $13.00 and I wanted just the breast.
macomarell 2 years ago
Please tell me you didn't pay almost $20 for that package of chicken !

This looks SO YUMMY! I favorited it and can't wait to try it. I don't have a grill like that, what do you recommend using as a substitute?
digupmyheart 2 years ago
Any frying pan would do, use two if you have to. Keep the veg apart from the chicken or the chicken will stew instead of grill or sear.
Let me know how your came out.
