epointt, are you huffing? lets take a look at Europe, there telling us not to adopt their policies. why? because if we do we cant help them like we do now because we will go broke along with them. In England their health care system stinks there are not enough nurses or doctors. Why? because they don't make enough money. Why? because government tells them how much they should charge and how much treatment someone could receive, the taxes are through the roof.

What I dont like about the recent policy changes for federal funding for embyronic stem cell research is that it is obviously a choice to advance an agenda - because the field of stem cell research is now looking at adult stem cells instead, which doesn't involve using foetal blood cells at all. This funding would encourage pointing the field in the wrong direction - which often happens when government gets involved with research that should ideally be funded by the private sector.
