Have you never read the authentic Hadith in Abu Dawood/ibn Majah/Tirmidhi...

Abu Hurayrah narrates that the Prophet (saw) said,

'The Jews and the Christians will be split into 71 or 72 religious sects and this nation (ummah) will be divided into 73 religious sects, all in Hell, except one, and that one is: on which I and my companions are today.'

So my brother, do not be ignorant , for it has been told to us by our beloved Prophet (saw) that there are going to be sects.
