Trying to compare actual sound suppression levels based on hearing the sound on a flash movie on the internet is about as pointless as trying to debate anything via comments on Youtube. The supressor and ammo used will have much more affect on suppression levels than the actual weapons system. Although there are some weapon systems that supress better than others. I think the MP5 could hold its own against a USP in a scientific test.(see Silencer research for examples of proper testing)

The USP in MW2 has no mechanism sound. This is wrong, because when you fire it in real life, you get a hello of a sound, even with a suppressor.
