Great video. Thanks so much for sharing. I have a similar Mower but it's from England. I had great results WITH-OUT disassembly. I used my Dremel tool and grinder attachment. It takes about half an hour but still worth it. One thing I missed though was sharpening the plate. So I'll do that tomorrow.I gave it a nice lube, and it's cool it has these little spring loaded doors (very tiny) to drop oil in the bearing casing. This type of Mower is amazing, and my woman thinks It's sexy when I use it

Hi Fred why is the reel so tight to have to cut paper after the sharpening? Would it be because you cannot grind the reel correctly with the proper releif angle? Or is it because the method of sharpening one blade at a time is not accurate enuogh for the blades to be the same lenght to hi the bedknife the same all way around.

electric weedeaters will do. there r electric ones with speed controls and they do not have to be heavy and uncomfortable.

my lawn has concrete surrounding it but i can't cut it with the mower because its too big to fit in there i have to cut it myself with scissors. that takes too much time and my hand would ache afterward. is there any kind of tool that can help me?

@318r3c08 sure! get yourself what they call a "motorized scissors". I got mine at home depot; it has an 18hp kohler engine. it's a big ungainly to hold with one hand, but the blades cut amazingly well...
