  • If I was the Sergeant, I would be proud! XD

  • I so wanna join the army now and try it XD

  • This is my favorite part of the whole movie. XD

  • I love the movie, and this is one of my favorite parts

  • Dr. Venkman and Dr. Spengler, the early years.

  • i like how the stupid guy who is "supposed" to be off time is the only one on time lol

  • 0:21 wait a second and u will see his eye twich

  • anyone else that a lot of the time they were out of step including the drill instructor

  • In Holland the marines are like this, well we are organized but humor is a part of the marines :). I might join the marines aswell, a good friend of mine is in the marines-coprs and all he says is: it's awesome. My country is what I want to defend so maybe I'll be defending it one day.

  • is the sound off? He's saying left on the right foot

  • @Rawr5649 audio/video are just out of sync.

  • @Rawr5649 thats what i saw!!!!

  • i think Murray and Ramis wrote that song lol

  • in this movie (which is great) after the haircut scene harold ramis starts singing a song does anyone know what that song is???

  • Every time Sgt. Hulka says left they're on their right foot.

  • One of the best comedies of modern times. They did a great tribute to Manfred Mann's 1964 classic here too - Doo Wah Diddy..

  • the best part!!! hahaha

  • Hey, we're walking

    Bill: Noooo rly

  • The best scene of this movie is when they enlist. The recruiter goes through the "homosexuality" question (1981 was long before "don't ask, don't tell"). Harold Ramis' reply, in typical job interview fashion, "No. But we are willing to learn."

  • @menotellname i agree. ramis had some of the best lines in the film. like when he bet bill he couldnt do 5 push-ups "youre about ready for the special olympics."

  • She looks good, she looks fine, then I nearly lost my mind...

  • Marching takes patience.

  • Anyone else notice no one was in step?

  • They're hittin right foot when the DS yells left......lol its funny how much this annoys me

  • @onemanairband thats just cause the audios out of sync, you can tell in the beginning

  • They're COMPLETELY out of step.

  • @ff2paladin the vid is out of sync

  • I WAS JUST SEARCHING FOR THIS SONG AND THIS CAME UP, AND IM WATCHING THIS RIGHT NOW!! ROFL!!! 3:41 COMDEY CENTRAL - TUESDAY JUNE 15 - ROFLMAO

  • WALKING LIKE FAGS

  • most of the movie was filmed in kentucky. abn d i live in the area where it was filmed

  • Love this scene. remind me of my basic training days in Fort Knox, ky. Those tanks are old. M60A3 . i trained on the Abrams. We sang funny cadences and we got the best platoon award out of 5 platoons in Delta 2/13 Bandits. Strike Fast kick Ass is our motto.

  • I've never seen this entire movie but every time I watch this clip I think it's funny that Harold Ramis says, "Hey, we're walkin'!" But how come he says it? Were they all told beforehand that they were going to have to learn how to walk? I guess so.

  • Epic song!

  • funny scene, but in reality, these jokers would never see the outside of Leavenworth after the stuff they did.

  • I just realized that they are marching with their right when the DI yells left...epic anyway

  • i wish they still made movies like this

  • this movie is so epic. ramis was also fucking funny in this movie. his facial expressions and his lines haha!. ''harikrishmaa, harikrishmaa'' haha

  • martching would be fun at cadets if we done that x)

  • fuckin laughin out loud

  • This movie is coming on tonight so im going to have to watch it i love this movie!

  • Really? My dad is planning to upload it on his iPhone.

  • @PromiserOfDeath Really? Have fun!

  • @mermaidamp O yeah the movie comes on AMC sometimes!

  • I haven't a clue as to how many times I marched across that very field on my way from the Splinter Village barraks to the AIT training area.

  • @alco251man dude, that's awesome.

  • they are out of step

  • lol im just watching this movie

  • The army should take some notes, I'd join If it were like this.

  • what song is it i reconise it

  • Do Wah Diddy Diddy by Manfred Mann

  • Best military cadence XD.

  • You know, I would find it very cool if you could have all the marching platoon members in this scene dress up in Ghostbuster outfits and wear proton-packs (minus the hats) and have Hulka wear a Ghostbuster outfit (minus the proton-pack) but still wear the drill instructor hat. But still have them sing whatever song it is that they are singing.

  • Hey, I thought basic Drill & Ceremonies procedures say you're supposed to order a "right face" and then march the troops (not a "left face" like here).

  • pretty sure they didn't give a shit about proper D&C procedures

  • Idk if it's just me, but the lag in the video makes it seem that when Hulka says left they are on the right foot haha.

  • LOL

  • lol

  • bill murray for president

  • Anyone else prefer Bill Murrays version of this song over the original?

  • Amen! Praise JeAllahsus!

  • I sure as hell do!

  • me, i like it more then the original

  • @spaz01112 i do

  • @spaz01112 i actually do lol

  • @spaz01112

    Yeah I actually do :D

  • @spaz01112 I like Bills version

  • @spaz01112 YES :D

  • @spaz01112

It's There She walking from Manfred Mann

  • LOL I luv this part too funny id so join the army if it was like that

  • it is once you get out of basic

man, basic sucks ass. once you get to a line unit, its a whole different set of rules.

our greeting of the day isnt "good morning sir". more like "RECON sir chicks dig it!"

or, to one of our mexican staff sergeants; HOLA sergeant-o, coma esta?

  • classic!

  • Still holds up after all these years, amazing movie!

  • Hey we're walking laughed my ass off its on the floor now :D

  • Marching is great. I am in the US Auxilary Airforce AKA Civil air patrol. We march/run in formation while singing cadences like this. Weve even sung this i love it!

  • WOOT I feel not so weird that we do this jodie in my squadron now

  • lighten up, francis

  • they both make the army look fun lol

  • LOL at Harold Ramis as Russell Ziskey saying "Hey, we're walking."

  • haha and his face expression at it xd

  • Harold Ramis and Bill Murray are fucking hilarious..... especially together.

  • LOL i love this movie

  • love the song and the movie!

  • Man, it takes a lot of practice to march in the army. This movie is so old in fact it is pretty funny.

  • Left. Right. Left. Right. You stay in place. Left. Right. Left!!! Jeez, Elmo Blum (Judge Reinhold) NOT so high with the knees. Next time, stay low on the ground with the knees low.

  • ROFLMAO!!!!

  • i love this song!

  • Gald to hear that. Really? It was sung by Manfred Mann.

  • any other versions of the song ? I really would like some info on it :)
