i uses my pick like that. its better without it. you can use a thumb pick just as a flat. chet didnt think much of a flat pick. he said it was like painting your house with a toothbrush. its limited what you can play with a flat. a thumb pick helps you out in so many ways when the flat is just in the way. playing right guitar cant be done with a flat. the thumb is ment to the bassline independent from the other fingers. for those who didnt know it. see chet about guitar clips
Thanks for sharing! Nice!

great. maybe try to let the melody out a bit more, make it a bit stronger a clearer tan the rest

Hahaha, it's a telecaster like Keith Richards uses...for jazz. Kickass.

that is such a nice clean sound for a humbucker pickup
jose044 3 years ago
Maybe he's using the bridge pickup.
lexussux 3 years ago
doubtful, the bridge would be way brighter. i've always found the neck to be a much cleaner, mellower sound. just kinda the nature of the pickup
guitarninja86 3 years ago
I played this using the neck pick up, which is a humbucker and a Fender Blues amp.
vonhasselbach 3 years ago
totally agree with you man, I use the neck for soloing and clean and the bridge for distortion.

Hi there. I'm not a tab guy myself (someone taught me this in person), it is available from a Hal Leonard book.
