I have this phone ass a back up phone it's still working verry good except bleutooth. But that doesn't matter because I use it as a mp3 player nowdays :)

13sec aren't realistic...You can't use the phone at this moment, it takes another 10-20sec until the background stuff has been started and the phone recognizes your inputs......

act we can only tune down the sound... turn on the n82's media player, and set the volume to 1. the flash sound will also be "1"

its also touch screen. and the 8gb version never crashes, and the usability is better than the n82. that's about it. i personally think the n82 is better than the n95, because it's about a hundred bucks cheaper? and the n82 has a xenon flash, as for the n95, it's a dual LED flash(doesn't really make a difference.)

hows the speakers on the n82, are they great like the n95, this isn't a real selling point for me but i'm interested.

Those on the N95 and N95 8GB are much louder, really loud imho. The N82's speakers are decent, but not as loud and clear as the N95. Besides due to the placement of the speakers on the N95 the stereo effect is greater. The N95 speakers are really impressive.

I have no idea, as I havent had with SE phones. I do know that the new W960 has good battery life.

how long does it take to capture when you are not capturing in low light??

A bit faster but not by a lot, about 1-1.5 seconds depending on the scene. In some difficult scene it might take as long as in low light.

My friend you are cheating...If you open the camera and then close it and open it again it takes even less for it to start up...just like you did in this video:first you show us the camera switch (which activates the camera so...), then close the switch(so camera off)then turn the phone around...and then of course at the second(2nd) startup the camera loads faster...N82 is a good phone but not a match for N95 8Gb ;)

Yes it is a match for tne n95 8gb, easily, xenon flash destroys the n95. both are very good phones which I both own, but the n82 is a direct competitor to the n95

No it won't. Only when you install apps it slow down gradually. Besides it uses microSD cards and not a hard drive.

It's a N okia orginal stand I got from the Nokia Head Quaters in Finland. I don't think it's for sale anywhere else.

well the camera startup and low-light focusing is about 1~3secs faster than n95-1, its not too much.

And about the xenom flash its really better than n95 but it stills far than a good camera xenom flash.

dude you tell start up time is 13 sec. It's not! In your video it takes approximately 21 sec. to boot up.

The screen is excelent for a QVGA screen. Although it's not as bright as it should be, the N95 8GB is much brighter.

In N95 with firm V20 camera startup and focus are almost the same. I compared with my N95 and this video. Older firm was slower.

Startup time differs if there´s apps installed or not. Always far more than 13 seconds.

Yes, but only on the European versions. The Asian version can not silence the camera sound due to laws in Asia.

i also think the theme affects the speed, so if you get your own theme on the phone, it wil reduce your speed if its heavy..

Hi, from 1:15 seconds into video the camera and cover are closed. It's only after that i open the cover the camerav starts up.

Even from a cold start it's the same amount.
