He is progressing nicely. He has a ways to go yet but if he continues to improve at this rate he will be one hell of a QB. If there is a human alive that can improve in the areas he needs to it's Tim Tebow, the man is amazing.
The one thing I think he is getting better at quickly is his decision making and reads, he's really making big strides in that area. He is seeing the defense and figuring it out, he just needs to get better at getting the ball there in the right spot.

Um, he has won two games since that loss. And um, well, he is a "rookie," they don't expect him to be the best of the best when he is a rookie. Im sorry but an NFL franchise shouldn't have to teach it's QB proper throwing technique. If you are a professional athlete these fundamentals should be built into your muscle memory. The whole reason these athletes are so good is because they do the fundamental movements but with incomprehensible speed and precision. If you cant even nail the basics then he shouldn't be in the NFL.

No professional quarterback can re-learn how to throw over night, or even over 1 year.

The only reason QB's have to release from high is to get it over the linemen it has nothing to do with accuracy. If he wants to be a better QB he has to become better mentaly: better and quicker reads, pre snap adjustments, and use your checkdown instead of just scrambling or throwing it away.

Rivers, Vick, Romo, Young, Flacco or you can just watch a Colt Brennan highlight he's probably the most notable side arm thrower. If you wanna go old school watch Rich Gannon and Drew Bledsoe they threw side arm...If throwing over the top is so superior why don't all baseball players throw "over the top"? thing with Tebow isnt that he cant throw. I mean seriously look at his receivers..they're crap. They traded away their best receiver. He has no reliable tight end the way Brady has Gronk, Rodgers has Finley or Rivers with Gates. Heck even Cam has Olsen. Given an offseason and some better receivers, he'll be a better passer.

I stayed on the fence with Tebow until a couple of weeks ago. He's gotten a lot of stick just because he's religious which is ridiculous. At the end of the day he's got the right attitude on the field, practice or gameday, and he's a winner. Period. He's going to beat my Bears next week.

He is progressing nicely. He has a ways to go yet but if he continues to improve at this rate he will be one hell of a QB. If there is a human alive that can improve in the areas he needs to it's Tim Tebow, the man is amazing.
The one thing I think he is getting better at quickly is his decision making and reads, he's really making big strides in that area. He is seeing the defense and figuring it out, he just needs to get better at getting the ball there in the right spot.

I wish the guy well, whatever comes of it. He gets hated on hard, and it doesn't bother him, which I find to be pretty cool, to be honest. He's a good football player, but not that great of a QB. Yeah, he beat the Jets tonight on a gutsy run, and he'll win some other games, but he is not going to be a franchise QB that puts up #s in the passing game like Rodgers, let alone Cutler. Eventually he won't be able to run against teams, and Denver will have a hard time scoring. No chance vs Bears.

Im sorry but an NFL franchise shouldn't have to teach it's QB proper throwing technique. If you are a professional athlete these fundamentals should be built into your muscle memory. The whole reason these athletes are so good is because they do the fundamental movements but with incomprehensible speed and precision. If you cant even nail the basics then he shouldn't be in the NFL.

@adamuk90 Tebow isn't the only quarterback to have to re-do his throwing motion, and throwing the same way for 10 years isn't even to overcome, it took Phillip Rivers 3 years to finally fix his weird throwing motion, and it's still not right, but he's considered an elite quarterback. No professional quarterback can re-learn how to throw over night, or even over 1 year.

@adamuk90 ummm. a NFL team should do whatever it thinks will help it win within the laws and regulations. Period. They have the money and Tebow has the time. We see it constantly with athletes in every sport. What you can't teach is pure athleticism, so NFL teams are fine teaching skills like coverage, throwing mechanics, blocking technique and the like.

He had the tools to be a great QB and he used those tools to get 2 franchises to the Superbowl. Kurt Warner has always been accurate. Tim Tebow is not accurate. Kurt Warner has one of the quickest releases of all time. Tim Tebow has a slow release. It has NOTHING to do with his faith!
