  • Hmm... They keep showing clips of red team talking about how they're going to lose, and blue team saying they're going to win. I predict that the red team wins, and the blue team has to go to the elimination room.

And questioning a trainer's nutritional knowledge. They all realize they're fat, right? And if their nutritional ideas were sound, they wouldn't be on the show, right?   • Bob & Jillian have said over and over that oft times when a very big person drops big numbers the first week, they will drop a baby number the second week, simply because they body goes into shock. They certainly wouldn't be shaming Damien. Why would you go on BL as a trainer if you just wanted to shame fat people? Honestly, I bet Sarah will be glad she didn't come back. Bob promised to be there for her and he would have left her to trainers that only care about numbers, not life change.

  • I think Laura, if having lost enough weight, will look incredibly beautiful. Even P'eti will look good in my opinion. Can't wait.

  • I think this new diet was only a reaction to the previous week's weigh-in, when Shannon said that if his team didn't drop big numbers, he'd try something different. It's definitely not sustainable, probably it was only meant to jump-start into a more balanced diet. Shannon's not an idiot, he wouldn't play with his team's health.

    And Munnalita is a weaselly little skank, stealing papers like that. Pay attention to your own exercise and keep your nose out of other people's business!

  • I'm not trying to start an argument, but high-protein, low carb diets don't work well for those who are working out constantly. Athletes need the carbs, and so do they. Where else would you get that quick energy?

  • you can actually get energy from low carb fruits. Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, honeydew and canteloupe are excellent choices to eat before a strenuous excercise session that give you the energy you need for your workout and also, those things don't wreck your diet.

  • You get energy from 99% of the things you eat, and sugars and carbs are related, so you're right. I'm just saying that I'm a runner - if I didn't eat my share of carbs, I have no quick fuel for my runs. Proteins are used secondary when you're doing any sort of aerobics. Carbs/glycogen are used first. You NEED them if you're that active. Cutting off carbs WILL let you lose weight, but you're also not giving yourself something your body deems essential.
