  • its awesome this gurls r good

  • This is great!!!

I have coined the phrase Urban Fusion and Millenium Fusion to describe the diffracted forms and directional fusion form of world [millenium] fusion danza.

posted {#38] Urban Fusion and [#19] Millenium Fusion

Danza's in the begining fuse foreign with local influences with local form having the preponderance of the danza; and with time, the regioanl influences fuse with each other; fads surgel but the popularity of danza is determined by cultural acceptance

  • Hip pop's pop & lock origins are from Belly Dancing with the moves called [king] Tuts; where break dancing origins are from moves that had the potentional to break bones and a break from gang violence by incorporting capoeria form competition.

original tribal was costume themed (associated memberships)as rivals of the established belly dancing and developed into present Tribal by fusing goth, pop & lock, hand movements without shills.

I see flamenco (fusion of arab belly & spanish folk).

  • Hair windmaill is Russion/Europe regional influence; the double fisted chest pumping is American latina homegirl (capoeria) orginated; every culture has hip shaking.

    Beautiful fusion!!!

  • heylo

prety [lz teach me da choreography this would be awesome for my schools dancerfest

  • yes, i agree, the costumes might be a little off. somehting a bit more that suits this style but the moves are AWESOME!

    might i say, hott :P

  • thi is a relaly cool dance i was interested all the way thru. cool music.!

  • What a fun choreography!

  • well this looked like fun, I liked, but I think you could use more various moves

  • Cool, thats interesting. I'll check it out. I've never heard of that before, thank you for sharing :)

  • The style is very different from what I know. I like the dance! It should not be could bellydance and other costumes would suite the atmosphere better I think. More energetic and extravert.

  • Hi, thanks for your comment. You make a good point, the atmosphere is definetly not bellydance. We are dancing to reggaeton music, doing both bellydance moves and something we just made up really.. its more pop if you ask me (we adapt jazz-pop-hiphop, larger movements of the reggae style etc.), and some of the outfits are traditonal b.d. costumes mixed with homemade stuff. Hehe, Im lost! But thats cool with me :)

  • In Holland some bellydancers are busy defining a new style called 'bellybreak'. If you like this kind of mixing styles you'd probably like bellybreak too. There's one post on 'bellybreak' on youtube (check her costume!), but that performance is not that good. I think you girls could represent bellybreak far better!

  • You girls are so awesome!
