I was thinking to myself recently how well Einaudi's work would fit into a film. The way he really applies minimalism, the way he summarizes the most complex ideas in just a few keys, is something I would love to see at the climax of some of the finest films. Perhaps 'The Earth Prelude' might play when a well-explored character dies, assuming that it is taken tragically. Or maybe it could play as two characters look into one another's eyes and realize just how lucky they are to have each other.

This kind of music is truely celestial and pure, no matter with what you connect the song or not. But it can emerge thoughts and memories, situations that we love or hate, regardless if they make you feel sad.

@Mcharmanguy Well there's nothing wrong with a piece that induces sadness, but I agree. This has more of an appreciative feel to it. It's summing something up, as are most of Einaudi's works.

I do not know of any.. I recently lost 1500 songs and am in the middle of getting them back and doubling that number. Music is worth the time, good luck re downloading, be sure to back them up next time! I know I learned my lesson.

@aerobass2012 I've heard rumours that ipod screens aren't too tough to replace if you know what your doing, i can't offer much more than that but i would look around too friends of friends or someone you can trust who can do it, may cost a few notes but it'll be less than a new generic mp3 player. Possibly the most relaxing and chilled out I can ever recall listening to. I'm not a big classical fan on the whole but, I can honestly say that it is a pleasure to listen to this album, you just have to stop everything and listen... the world around just disappears the moment the music starts.
