Will Murasaki no ue be one of the characters too? :D I love Toma but I still have mixed emotions on him playing the douche Genji. haha. But my favourite character in the novel would have to be Murasaki no ue. :)

@kirakirashiya Unfortunately Murasaki doesn't make it into this one. It barely covers the very beginning of the novel and spends a lot of time on the side story about the author.

WOOOOWWWWWWWW!!!! This is the best!! I came across with "Genji Monogatari" thing while trying to read something about Japan from our encyclopedia in the house. That was when I began crushing on a Japanese actor a few years ago. This is one of the nicest coincidence about Toma's career for me, having him play such a familiar character! This is a must-see!!! I hope the DVDs would reach Philippine shores soon enough. Can't wait to marvel about the story and Toma's portrayal of course! Like!!
