  • Li Yang, can you STOP beating up your wife and teach me English? FTW!

  • It's so strange to hear people from China speak English :P I bet my Chinese teacher thinks the same thing when she hears us speak Chinese xD

  • Im chinese and I speak great english :3

  • Their spirit is worth giving credit to, but their method is wrong. Learn English in 8 days? Come on ... I've been doing English for 20 damn years and my English is still flawed as ever

  • Li Yang is a genius! He understands the importance of English-speaking people being examples for young Chinese students to learn from. I so appreciate having been a part of this process in 2006.

  • 0:5 is that Cambridge ? King's college?

  • it's like scientology!

  • wa meixiangdao liyang de yingyu jiang de zhema bang! ta kengding zhuguo meiguo le hao duo nian le.

  • wtf these kids speak that good after 3 days.. id like to hear them after 8

  • @xjustin523x they only can speak a little part of english

  • the funnier part is how the reporter speaks

  • my accent is ok, but my grammar SUCK

  • @oparunz My grammar is pretty good but my accent sucks!

  • More open minded? They're learning a foreign language during their spare time! How much more open minded can they be? I got nothing but mad respect for the people of China. In America we don't learn another language because more foreigners are going to come to visit, we pass laws to kick their asses out! Hahahaha. No wonder China is going to be a super power, the adapt to anything. Good for them.

  • english is now important ...ppl from other part of world have to learn it. learnin english is like goin to college .

english is a universal language .

  • @trulaos yet mandarin is currently the most spoken language in the world, while english is third. Even Spanish is more spoken than english.

  • I need this class but backwards... XD lol

  • dang they learn super quick! its so cool! <3 ^-^b

  • the chinese teacher has more of a mexican accent than an asian one..dope lol

  • i give credit for trying. i've been living in u.s. for 2 decades and i still can't perfect my accent.

  • @thanggnguyen At least you made an effort to learn it. Many people don't bother. So thanks!

  • @thanggnguyen the accent is irrelevant.

  • @thanggnguyen: Vietnamese speak English very well as same as Indian and you guys should proud of yourself about that!!!!

  • @thanggnguyen theory says that adults never reach a excellent accent but children.

  • They learn faster because they are Chinese... because Life is not that easy for them and they really want to learn... it's like LIFE or DEATH! They aren't lazies like most of the other students...

  • hahaha hey u red neck hahahaha

  • Make China stronger? Ha. !

  • @asdjfh55: that's stupid!!!! Chinese needs to learn how to curve people mind too!!!!

  • @ 1:46 , he or she ?? i don't recognized.

nowadays u must know english language otherwise life will kick you out from this planet or people will suck u.

i can realize how much non-english people do hard work on daily basis just to learn english and still they are not good at all, including me. lol

  • Where is Li Yang come from? His English is excellent. Many of my business friends told me that to do business with China and communicating in English is much easier in do that in Japan despite that Japan is more developed country.

  • 怎么可能您性交翻译此

  • It was popular in China, but now...no idea. Only an Advestiment.

  • she seems baffled at 0:34, I thought she didn't understand him at first.

  • yeah, i'm Chinese, and i hear someone nearby translating the question for her.

  • Its a pity that they all end up talking like bloody Yanks. I may have to go over there and teach a lucky group how to speak English English.

  • such method would not work, it ignores grammar. so it's detrimental to any students who want to master another language. we also noticed that Mr Li was not articulate when he spoke to the reporters.

  • Comment removed

  • exactly

Mr Li is not that good, I was in his lesson one time and all he was doing was repeating simple phrases over and over again and I ended up only being able to memorise fragments of sentences instead of speaking useful stuff!

    want my money back

  • You can't satisfied everybody.... so I still appreciate it.

  • It's an interesting approach. As a former EFL teacher myself, I find it fascinating. There are many students around the world that learn the grammar of English and even how to speak some of the language, but are horribly reliant on their electronic dictionaries. I'd love to see a solid study on how well Mr. Li's methods work.
