This is a game console that I really, really love. And I still don't have it... I recently got my first job, so probably I'm gonna buy it next friday...
I am NOT a fanboy and i'm not a owner of only one console trying to convince myself it's the best because i already bought it (i own a wii and a 360) but i prefer my 360. The only reason i play my wii anymore is because i bought the entire rock band set for it and rock band 2 (which is awesome). yes i do have more than 10 wii games (good ones too) so you can't say "DUHR YOU ONLEH TINKH IT SUHKKZ CUZ U ONLEH HAVE TEH DUHM FUKKEHN GAHMEZ LOLZ". but i only have 3 360 games and i STILL prefer it
There are 3 major differences between the wii and ps3, price, controller, wii only plays preteen games... Cartoon games, gay people games, while the ps3 is an actual console...
Yeah thats the truth..... MY brother got one for christmas.. hes 7, i have like 3 hours logged onto 10 games... and the only great thing about it is mario cart... but that sucks if your not playing with friends
It gets boring when you don't update your Wii regularly and get all the new features and also new games. If you don't do that, then the Wii is boring. I have a Wii myself and I have like 22 games including 11 ones that I bought from Wii shop channel and I'm gonna buy more Wii games to it such as Mario Power Tennis, if you buy more games, then the Wii becomes more entertaining. ;)
I have a Wii and a Xbox 360..I don't care how strange this might sound but I play more on my Wii then my 360. I love both consoles, I just prefer the wii more, How can I explain it..Well I find the Wii far more entertaining then any other console even though the graphics aren't better then the 360 and ps3. But hey, graphics don't make a game or a console.
The only thing that counts for me is entertaining wise, not graphics wise.
I actually was skeptical about the nintendo wii at 1st, but now I've learned so much about it this past weekend from doing research on it and found out that it has backward compatibilty for gamecube games and that it has this Virtual Console that by this upcoming weekend I plan purchasing one myself.

"Bigger" isn't synonymous with "better" either. A 60" LCD will look worse than a 20" with the same resolution abilities. I would not be impressed by "expensive" things in your house.
Red Steel took me all of 5 minutes to get used to the controls.

It has a DVD drive but Nintendo saved money by not making it 100% functional. People way nerdier than you or me have been able to get around that and watch DVDs on it. But again, if you have/had a PS3 made by Sony, who's been making functional CD/DVD players for years.. why would you want or even trust one made by Nintendo?
Ipods were never the "best" music (mp4 and mp3) players, only the most popular. You could say the same about the Wii. But if people enjoy them, let them.
It's the same with cars, clothing, TVs, organic food etc etc. There's always improvement forthcoming to just about everything. That doesn't mean any money is wasted unless a person simply lacks the capacity to enjoy their own purchases.

People thay ware not that hard to get. all the walmart stores hade got so maney in so that thay could sell them for the next two days. and it was true to i no i bought one the next day. Then came back the 2nd day of release and sed i want one of the wiis thay and no thay have some in back that thay are holding and thay gave be a nother wii.
I remember when i got my wii in woolworths it was the last one in store AND they had to hide it under the counter! also while waiting for my dad across the street a family went in and asked for ONE! but my mum asked the clerk to save it as long as she was at the counter! By the way it is worth the wait and has become cheaper!
