Some of the best acting I've ever seen. The film had a few cliche's, but it all worked at the same time. The film was an independent movie so you have to think that the writers had to work more on a plot that would tocuh your heart, instead of making an epic movie. In a sense though it was epic. The actors had to actually act, and they all did a great job. There was some great directing and editing, and I wish more movies could be like this one.

Strange movie... Good actors but some of the characters and actions are (too) implausible. Example: Malee is 12 an so intelligent. But she didn't know (or care?) that it would have caused BIG troubles to Gus if she'd been able to seduce him? Instead of throwing the gun away wherever she hands it to Jacob of all boys for storage?! Oh oh oh... Think about the weak points before rating the film as "very good" or "brilliant". ;-)

This is a fantastic film, but the trailer really isn't all that good. I think they could have made the movie look a lot better- or at least changed up the end sequence. Make it look much to cliche. And gives away the ending.

It has some funny moments, but it's a pretty serious movie, kinda freaks you out though. And the movie isn't about the kid's death specifically. It's more like how he dies, and how his circle is affected. The fat kid loses his sense of taste and smell and starts losing weight and goes ballistic on his family so they'll do the same. The Asian chick develops a freaky-ass crush on the shirtless guy (not gonna spoil the rest). And the brother...well...let's just say, he got pretty fucked up.
