Fuck it...I thought the movie and book was great. Sure they aren't the same but who really wants to see a remake of the book into a movie, there would be no curve balls as you would automatically understand everything. That's just my analysis. As for the game....Meh.

Actually, they did, but for a short time. The varden archers killed by urgals before the attack were dwarves, and the one guy with the long white hair and beard who tells Ajihad about the upcomming attack was Orik, well supposed to be.

in the film, durza and eragon fought outside of the mountains, not in Farthen Dur and the left out when Arya destroyed Isidar Mithrim to save eragon which suck bad. probably the cost of it was too much >:-S (angry face lol)

MOVIE = Crap. Re-make it, then make a 2nd one. The movie's writer and director didn't even follow half the book.

J/k I bought the book 4 years ago then i read it last week. the damn thing was so good i finished it in 4 days

As for the game we can't usually expect a game based off a movie to be great and we especially can't expect movies based off games to be good. The gameplay, artwork, controls and all feel fine. Music's pretty good. And it adds a bit more to what the movie missed. However since it follows the movie it cripples the game. I seriously would recommend the book. The game is okay for a movie based game but nothing special. Oh and when you say "bad-ass" btw it means good not bad. Just to let you know.

Lol actually I think the game was better in comparison to the movie. The dialouge wasn't AS bad, the battle was longer, and it stuck a little more to the book than the movie did. Both were certainly not really the best things ever made though.

Well in all fairness to the writers of the movie I respect the fact they stepped up to take on a goal this big. However reading the book feels more like reading off a script than what the movie showed at times. I can't blame them for editing certain things out, but as Eragon said "I expected more". None of the acting was bad. It was the writing and the directing. I liked the effects, music, costumes, actors, etc but seriously that is nothing compared to the book dude.

@ImAgO0dGuY Lol rules are, games/movies are never as good as their novels (if the novel came first) look at everything, Jurassic Park, The Lost World, Eragon Trilogy (its a trilogy atm) Harry Potter is both good and bad... wont discuss, LOTR. I heard that Christopher plans to redirect a proper Eragon movie once the novels are complete, though this may just be hearsay.

I agree on there not being enough dragon-riding games, but really, there aren't enough DRAGON games. If you actually want to play as a dragon, you have...Spyro, and Dragon Rage, which I've never played because it's obscure as hell and apparently had really crappy graphics for the PS2.
