In one of the interviews with Roth and Bhabha, one of the crew activities was a double feature with The Warriors and something else. Whether if the soundtrack inspired the event or vice versa is unknown.

I'm the only one of my friends that noticed that sounds much like the Warriors Soundtrack. That demanded a movie night of my own.
