  • what is 100B?

  • Ramones Forever!!

  • @LewyBVB shut the fuck up bitched asshole retarded shit head

  • @Hi5Gymnast dude don't be too critical. it's just an opinion. their cover is as cool as the original. but anyways i like the demo version way better.

  • Foo Fighters Version is waaaaaaaay better....

  • The Foo Fighters Cover is awesome too

  • @lucalucaluca1800 i don't believe that..

  • @MarqueeMoon1977 it is better than the original

  • all 4 original albums are great.

  • e mt loka essa musica

  • You've just got to admit that Phil did a great job on this.

  • I'm Sorry.

    I'm Japanese.

    Please forgive me,writing poor English.

I'm interested in Ramones by Foo Fighters cover.

Please tell me your favorite Ramones Album.

  • @Alien0KANTA Rocket to Russia, followed by End of the Century and the debut album.

  • @scorsese86 @wipers86

I bought End of the Century.

    This album is very good!

    I newly got favorite musician.

    Thank you very much :D

  • @Alien0KANTA rocket to russia/end of the cuntury, end of the century is the ramones best pop type of album and rocket to russia is the best from there early sound

  • @Alien0KANTA My favorite is the first album, just called "Ramones".

  • Yes<3

  • i fucking love ramones

  • ramones are,by ''FAR''!!! -the best band to ever exist and second to no other.

  • Love this song. Saw them in 81 at U of Illinois and in 84 at CBGB's, miss them so. They keep me young via my iPod.

  • I want this song played at my funeral.

  • I wanted to add there were according to her there were only 20-25 people there . The only promotion was the sign out in front of the bar and an ad I found in that weeks local paper . I found it to confirm their show hoping she was wrong . ThereI was probably just a handful if that , of fans in 100 sq miles that would have cared .

  • As a 19 yr old punk fan in 1978 I lived in Idaho Falls,ID then the 3rd biggest city w/15k people . This was a place with NO music scene.. period . I came home from work 1 night and one my buddys g/f is talking about the nite before she was at the Skyline?? (long time ago) and there was this horrible band there .It was our heroes . OMFG I almost died . Right time frame, and after all how many Idaho stops could there have been on the tour ? And I had missed it . Crap .

  • @cgn37vet HAHA! I can dig it, my Mom & her family was from Firth...in the '50's they thought the kids from Shelley were cool town kids & the Idaho Falls kids, well they were too cool to even talk too they were "BIG CITY" kids!!! I remember IF in the late 70's, cruising the loop at Tautphus Park was about it.

  • This song - Danny Says - By the Ramones is my favorite song from The Ramones ( Circa- 1980)

  • i prefer the demo version

  • Three chords. Thousands of possibilities!

  • i love this song

  • Love it! Can't stop playing this today!

  • I can just sit and listen to this over and over and over again

  • pet sounds!

  • @osohuarte Yeah, this is what would have happened if The Beach Boys went to CBGBs!

  • i live in Idaho :D

  • Happy Birthday Joey!!!!!

    5/19/51

  • Probably my favorite Ramones song.

  • You've got to admit it, Phil did a pretty sweet job on this.

  • @mjmcnult 100 percent agree.

  • @mjmcnult phil did a sterling job on the whole album . but this is in a whole new league . perfect .

  • This is my favourite Ramones album!!! I've been listening to it since I was about 8.... RIP Joey, Johnny and DeeDee!!!

  • I always liked this album. Some purists say that it's not a "true" Ramones album, but I like the fact that they took a risk and expanded their sound.

  • my dad sang this to me a as a lullaby to me and my brother when we were babies. and i know i will not be able to listen to this beautiful song when he's gone. but he's still alive and i hope he lives forever<3

  • @MYChemicalLyrics R.I.P. to this man that made my day to hear :( must be a great dad :)

  • @MrDazoka you mightve misread it, hes not dead so no need for R.I.P. luckily, and he is a great dad:)

  • @MYChemicalLyrics aahh i think u mean that ur dad was gone but u mean joey ? :D well we say R.I.P. Joey ;(

  • lol only 1 dislike XD shows how epic they were

  • I know you all realize there was a major row over the multi-colored t-shirts on the album cover. Despite the delightful sound of the recording, the making of this album occurred in extremely tense and uncomfortable circumstances for all involved.

  • 1 fucked up ass hole has no taste for punk rock music..:C

    R.I.P The Ramones

  • This song is about the lonely trip when Ramones were on the way to touring LOL.... I hear this song everyday and it makes me happy everytime!!!

  • verry good

    mui bien

    muito bom

    tov meod

  • I actually owned the L.P. Rocket to Russia. (and a bud owned the cassette.) Sad that U.S. 'mainstream' did not appreciate Ramones. (or as a Philipino friend said, The Ramones!)

  • que genial los ramones!!

  • 12 midnight 01/01/2001. Sonny from Rocky Hill, Westmoreland, Jamaica... I love you.

  • super stuff

  • They'da sold millions ore of this song had they titled it, "it aint Christmas if there aint no snow". Then we'd hear this classic every December ON THE RADIO instead of junk like the George Michael song which says nothing remote about Christmas. It's just in the title.

  • Anybody prefer the demo version of this to the actual album versoin?

    sounds too polished

  • @crybabywithoutacause I hate all the regular versions on this album, the demo sounds so, very much better and RAW like the real ramones, but you know this is joey's influence so injoy the track

  • Interesting to me how some of the band loathed this album (obviously the recording of it was a freakish nightmare) but the music is great in my opinion. I think it stands up with anything they did.

  • ramones yes....but...3 words are in order here: PHIl FUCKING SPECTOR!

  • great song GREAT BAND!

  • Oh I love this it's actually so sweet:3.

  • it ain't cristmass if there ain't no snow listening to sheena on the radio

man, no one's better in what they do

  • I've been listening to the Ramones forever, but, who's Danny?

  • @Horaciow14 Danny Feilds, Ramones manager from 1974 - 1980

  • @AllRamonesMusic correct

  • @Horaciow14 Danny was their manager

  • Ramones are the Beatles of the 70s and this song proves it :)

  • @popolop0 bro, dont compare the ramones and the beatles

  • @popolop0 The Ramones are more original then that

  • When my friend danny died i did a tribute for him like concert thing and i was singing the line danny says weve got to go and i just started crying on stage

  • 0 Dislikes, that proves this is the greatest band ever.

  • @DaizyLizard one dislike.. probally some prick who wants to be awkard xD

  • loveeeee and loveeee 4ever <3

  • 1:33 is sooooooooooooooooo great!!!!

  • @nanku42 Phil Spector invented the wall of sound and produced lots of records in the 60's but he didn't produce Pet Sounds...

  • feeling sleepy while listening to this song..

  • Hmm Hmm Hmm Cant Say I Like This Song But It Is What It Is...

  • the romantic ramones song´s are very f*** beatiful and great!!

    who´s with me

  • You can really hear the Beach Boys influences here. The Ramones were such a dynamic band. They had so many different sounds for the limited chord work they did.

There are so so many bands that owe everything to The Ramones.

  • @LordBizarre112233 Right you are. Phil Spector produced both album & Pet Sounds. Ramones are God

  • @nanku42 phil spector did NOT produce pet sounds

  • @LordBizarre112233 Definitely, lots of Surf influences on the Ramones albums after the first three or four LPs

  • This is the best song off "End Of The Century" by a mile. Then again, you may want to check out the cover versions of this song by The Foo Fighters and Tom Waits.

  • @poughkeepsiejohn1 Agreed, they're both great, but after hearing this original version, especially with the Spector "wall of sound" production (and being accustomed it for 30 years), I don't think they measure up.

  • Man the ramones kick so much ass this band really freaking rocks.

  • Ramones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rock on!!!!!!

  • No other band could ever make 3 chords sound so incredible.

  • @MassPanda

    You're so right!

Keep in mind though, the End of the Century album was different. At Phil Spector's direction, the music here was much more complicated than their usual fare, but even still they pulled it off big time!

  • I post the lyrics ... but never said thanks for sharing with us, so ... many, many thanks!!

  • danny says we gotta go

    Gotta go to Idaho

We can't go surfin' cause its 20' below

  • my favourite song by ramones

just amazing gives me goose bumps all over

  • "Listening to Sheena on the radio"

    Ramones forever in my heart

  • Probably the best song on the album, besides rock n roll radio of course. This song is just pure brilliance. You can really hear Joey's influence the song gives me chills every time I hear the opening beat. RIP Joey, Dee Dee, and Johnny, you guys are missed. The Ramones are missed, we need the Ramones to save music once again!

  • @MatthewNabokovfan88 You know what? This more then the best song on the album, in my opinion is one of the best rock n roll songs ever written, its just perfect.

  • is there any place that has surfing that can go to 20 below? just wondering.

  • SING!!!

    =D

  • Danny says we gotta go

    Gotta go to Idaho

  • Comment removed

  • their best tune!!

  • great song

  • This is Joey's influence on the band!

    Great song! Great album!

    Best Band

  • @tonipalanca This is Phil Spector's influence on the band. The original demo sounds much different.

  • @tonipalanca THE RAMONES THE BEST BAND ''EV-FUCK-IN-ER!! NOT THE STONES,NOT THE BEATLES,THE RAMONES !!! FUCKING 4-EVER!!! THERE IS NO ONE ELSE!!!!!!!!!! N.Y., YOU HAVE ALL THE CREDIT 4 THIS;NOBODY ELSE CAN EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! AN IF U DISAGREE,FUCK OFF AND GO DIE!!!!!
