  • My favourite version by far (:

  • Although I like Jonny Lee Miller playing Edmund, the 1999 version seems to have changed the parts of the storyline and main character's traits. That Fanny is a little too outspoken and confident compared to the original Fanny Price, who is shy and timid. And what on earth happened to William? This version may seem stiff to some compared to modern ones, but I think it's closer to the original context :)

  • I adore this Henry<3

  • Don't kill me, but I really hate this Henry. He seems like more of a creeper than the others.

  • @MushroomQueen27 then that means he is playing his role well then? ;) he is not supposed to be likable. He is a negative character in the book.

  • @JaneAustenRules True, but he was supposed to be more of a snake-like creeper, with charm. This one is just downright icky.

  • I Really LOVED this series!!! The 1983 BBC version is hell MUCH better and accurate than the lousy American one from 1999.

  • couldn't agree with you more, I really liked this version, especially the guy who plays henry crawford, he really carried out the character well, Fanny as well

  • Same here. I like this 1983 version much better. It followed the book better, too.

  • can u put the hole movie on plz!

  • Oh,that Henry! He is an actor isn't he?
