I have a story my grandfather told me from way back when he was a teenager he wrote a song submitted it to deca records in the hope he would get recognission for the song months passed and around 14 months later Paint it black was relesed the song was more or less the same give or take a few words.

I cant prove this and i am not saying its true but anyone who has the ability to access the companys info please check. He is no longer with us but if he did write this song i think credit is due
