You should the mac matte cream. It works as a primer, but does not feel greasy or heavy at all. I'm really oily, but it keeps me shine free for about 6-8 hours.

I have learned that using your ring finger to apply concelear is more gentle on your skin. Why? I do not know. I have been told by experts that the ring finger is more gentle to use on the eye area. Hope that helps
