i actually watched this battle from xerxes perspective a long time ago. the reason he didnt straight out kill nidoking with shedinja was fear of poison point, andin a different battle (where sunny day actually came to use) sunny day was for sandstorm and hail.
Xerxes has no shame lol. Though I have to admit, stalling out your Nidoking instead of outright killing it was smart on his part. Too bad you couldn't try to force him to use x-scissor or Shadow Sneak on your Nidoking.
