sometimes we owners should put our shih tzus on playpens that has toys food water , every time i leave our house for work i place my 4 shih tzus in a playpen w/ cover so they wont able to escape , i had a pekengese before who ran out of our gate coz our house helper when out and forget to close the door , he was ran over by a car .. its not the fault of the driver but mine , a lesson a never forget

The same thing happened to my baby, but the vet said someone kicked him, he didn't get run over. He almost died, I almost died, I was so sad. He is ok now, his leg hurts when it is cold outside. I love my Dog, he is my angel. Whoever Kicked my baby will pay for what they did, I wish I knew who did it. him to the vet.

Ahhh, so scared, as has been traumatized. It's been said they don't remember traumatic events, but that is not true. After being traumatized they need a very peaceful secure environment to overcome the trauma. I know because I adopted a Shih Tzu who'd been through trauma, and she was a wonderful dog.

My best friend, Sammy, took off out of an accidentally opened back door. He was hit by a car and killed right in front of my daughters. The "thing" that killed him told my little girl it was HER fault he was dead. Then he left. This "man" was very lucky I was in the shower.

Its been years and I still miss Sammy. I got a new shihtzu and I love him to bits, but I will always miss Sammy.
