  • Honestly, I don't see things he points out. I'm trying to see them. Are there bigger and better photos? I just don't see anything.

  • we always see the same side of the moon from earth because the moon's period of rotation and period of revolution are the same...approximately 27.32 days.

  • this guy sees what he wants to

  • This luminated spot can be maybe such a glass structure Hoagland is talking about. In that case it will be just the sunlight reflecting.

  • Interesting observation..

  • @Za7a7aZ could be

  • people love stories. feel free to make your own explanation.... hopefully you have some serious credentials so that people will take you seriously. That's all that matters.

  • If it is true that these secret organisations are killing those who can not keep a secret than this Hendy Deacon guy will probably die soon. I do not wish him dead but he disclosed for a audiance that he has been to Mars on a government mission. Either he is a heartless compulsive lier, a mentally ill person or very brave. Watch the Project Camelot site for his disclosure.

  • if you smoke marijuana and look at the moon through a telescope, then you really see something

  • well i must have smoked a quarter(just to be sure) and i never saw fuck all

  • weird, but when I look at the moon through a telescope, I see no cities.

  • if you looked through a telescope at the earth while being on the moon you wouldn't see cities either.

  • you obviously do not use the same kind of gear I use. If I posted about a telescope, I'm not talking about a Pirates of the Carribean model :) Let's just say people like to see the rings of Saturn clearly through my equipment.

  • i have a 12@ dob, me and my family witnessed 2 anomalous lunar surface lights over a few hrs,i know high muntainous tips can rfelect light, but im quite familiar with the moon, and use virtual moon atlas software, the region i was observing really had no mountainous regions whatsoever, in fact the 2 lights were smak inside a 40m wide crater lol wtf

  • What would you see if you would use a heat seeing telescope. Are those called infrared scopes? Anyways, would you see heat 'activity' if there was any from that distance?

  • never used anything like that, have no clue what it'd register. From earth looking at the moon, probably one solid color, unless the point was REAAALLY hot.

  • you'd be able to make out structured, COMPLETELY anomalous terrain. Luckily, we have cities on earth to actually decipher what it was we'd be looking at.... cities are cities. They'd stick out like a sore thumb, actually.

  • On the darkside off the earth you will see strange lights and think.....could there be alien earth bases at those illuminated spots?

  • There is no dark side of the moon. The sun illuminates the whole (except the poles I'd assume) moon at some point as the moon rotates on its axis.

  • You will always see the same side of the moon from earth....what do you mean rotate?

  • Some folk think the moon doesn't rotate. Wrong.

We always see the same side of the moon. To do that it must rotate once every revolution around earth.

  • @zzytrewq I do not understand.....I explain...at night I see always the same side and in the day time also. That can only happen if the moon turns with me in its orbit with Earth...with the same speed the earth is turning. That doesn´t mean that the moon is rotating around its own axes but that it is rotating around the Earth.

  • Simple way to prove it rotates. Place an object on a table to represent earth. Get another object (soft drink can) and make it orbit around and keep one face (label on the can) pointing towards the object on the table. Notice how you have to rotate the orbiting soft drink can?

  • @zzytrewq But not with respect to earth's frame of reference.

  • @lovegarbage - correct my friend. But you have got to figure that will confuse folks I'm trying to explain this concept to. Given the argument was about there being "no dark side of the moon" as in the same half is always in darkness I chose to make the solar system the reference frame just to assist in the explanation. Good to see a critical and intelligent comment here. Thanks.

  • Great Posts!!!
