  • Little Janet was such a talented girl

  • This song was on the "B" side of someone's hit record and I remember playing it in the '60's but it wasn't this version with the Lennon Sisters. I'd love to know who sang it. Jim Reeves or someone like that, but I don't remember who it was.

  • @Jibbie49 I know Billy Vaughn does a version of it.

  • @Jibbie49 - I also listened to this song in the sixties. A good friend of mine (in his 70's back then) was friends of the Lennon Sisters and worked as a Hollywood screen writer in the 30's and 40's introduced me to this song from the album "DAVID CARROLL AND HIS ORCHESTRA - THE FEATHERY FEELING"

(MERCURY RECORDS MG 20286) I believe this is the same one you are referring to as it has that "Whispering Jim Reeves" quality to it. Copies of the original can be found on Ebay.

  • Most don't know ,when the Lennons left to do their own show ,Aladdin went with them . There were great friends !

  • oh how sweet! i really loved this one--thank you so much!

  • Another great one. Thanks. Leebm29
