This song was on the "B" side of someone's hit record and I remember playing it in the '60's but it wasn't this version with the Lennon Sisters. I'd love to know who sang it. Jim Reeves or someone like that, but I don't remember who it was.
@Jibbie49 - I also listened to this song in the sixties. A good friend of mine (in his 70's back then) was friends of the Lennon Sisters and worked as a Hollywood screen writer in the 30's and 40's introduced me to this song from the album "DAVID CARROLL AND HIS ORCHESTRA - THE FEATHERY FEELING"
(MERCURY RECORDS MG 20286) I believe this is the same one you are referring to as it has that "Whispering Jim Reeves" quality to it. Copies of the original can be found on Ebay.

Most don't know ,when the Lennons left to do their own show ,Aladdin went with them . There were great friends !
