Libertarianism, in a nutshell is: 'Do what ever the hell you want, I don't care, so long as it stays in your back yard. The instant it enters mine or someone else's, I start caring.' It is all about personal liberty and freedom.
This is the opposite of "Republican party dogma," and Democratic party dogma as well. Both aforesaid groups advocate big government and the absence of personal liberty.
Libertarianism is about halfway between each on the spectrum. Socially it is more liberal while economically it is decidedly more conservative. Jefferson was a libertarian and he was no where near an "extreme right wing republican." Not everyone has to be grouped at one extreme of the spectrum. Most people fall some where in the middle... Unfortunately the people reporting on the news have decided they they are going to polarize and by extension make others look polar as well. Don't fall for it.
I don't understand why people seem to think that it has anything to do with Conservatism. Liberals talk about Libertarian values all the time. Homosexuality... the legalization of Cannabis... free speech. All of these things should not be controlled by anyone other than the people who choose it for themselves. It isn't hurting anyone.

Title infringment. Basically Penn & Teller's show called Bullshit has been around for several seasons then all of the sudden the people over at 20/20 needed a name for a show and magically they pulled bullshit out of their ass (no pun intended). Title infringment. Basically Penn & Teller's show called Bullshit has been around for several seasons then all of the sudden the people over at 20/20 needed a name for a show and magically they pulled bullshit out of their ass (no pun intended). Most people and companies would sue over such matters but Penn is just blowing off some steam about it. He's being a class act rather than hiding behind a lawyer to piss and moan about it.

What makes "Bullshit" is the team behind it. (Pardon the puns.) P&T do an excellent job. Being here in Germany, I didn't get to see the origionals, only what I can gleen from YouTube. If some other team can show that there is more bullshit out there, (which should be easy) let them. We can't change anything unless we can talk about it and humor is a good tool to catch the attention of everyone.

Well first of all there's nothing to imply that they are actually friends or have even met each other, he simply says that he respects them and they are on the same side.
Second, bullshit is a word that refers to a concept or idea, and it's not like there are a lot of other words to describe that concept so succinctly. How many TV programs have had the word "dream" in the title? You shouldn't have to avoid the word just because someone used it to describe the exact same concept.

I don't see the problem. For several reasons.
1. Bull market. It was the belief that the 10 years of a Bull market in the Mortgage sector would continue to be so, and too much of the Bank's money tied to overleveraged Mortgage Securities, that caused so much of the trouble we are in right now.
2. So much of what is going on is Bullshit.
3. They needed a title that allows for both interpretations.

The woman interviewed had no problem to not smoke while on the clock. But they thought they should have the right to smoke at home. Johnny commented something like, "What you think you own your job. Give me a break." And sided with the employer that these woman should not smoke cigarettes.

A side note: they're not on cable TV so they can't call their show "bullshit". It's a little surprising the FCC even let the word "bull" (which means "bullshit" in this context, not "a cow with balls") slide, considering how fascist they are.
