  • Volodos is probably the best pianist living today in terms of technique. There's just nothing he cannot do. He makes even the likes of Yuja Wang look amateurish.

  • Volodos é um dos raros casos onde integram-se mente, físico, emoção, conhecimento e exercício, todos no mais alto grau de intensidade.

    Apenas o máximo!

  • Damn...LOVE THE CROWDS AT THE END! HAHAHAHA

  • @Darrning post something different on the videos please :D

  • @Darrning LOL, I never checked out the comments until now

  • @Darrning PRIMA DI SCRIVERE SIMILI COMMENTI OFFENSIVI, PENSACI DUE VOLTE; E POI TACI!

  • seeing that you are a pretty decent pianist yourself, you really must have been smoking something quite strong to say that this isn't music. for me, at any rate, this is definitely one of the top Rach 3 interpretations that i've come across. volodos has everything: brilliant technique, gorgeous russian sound, and clear-cut musical ideas.

  • Yes, Belamus. His is a fresh and refreshing new take on this Rach. And never does it seem gimicky or contrived. There are so many passages that sound like absolutely nobody else - not Argerich or Richter or Gavrilov (all of which are excellent in their own right) that it seems one is hearing it for the first time - even though it is an old favourite. (Who said it isn't music?)
