  • does San Diego use a different rating system? ;-)

  • lol, I love the comments...Haven't looked at it for a year or so. First of all, Chad is a very good player out of San Diego (in the white shirt), I noticed there are almost 4,000 views which is crazy for a 2 minute video of a match. I have played many people, but Chad is an unbelievably smart player, doesn't miss, and wins big points. He doesnn't hit 120 MPH serves, but he beats people mentally and with hustle. If you commented on the video, show a link so we can see how good you are, please

  • this is 3.0 tennis

  • That's a lot of messing around for 5.5..(?)

  • these guys are terrible...they play like the junior varsity at my high school...

  • is this a joke?

  • the guys are both fags. the white shirt only hits slice forehands, wtf?

  • that wasn't even a forehand shot, all i can see is you merely slice it

  • It's possible these guys have been rated at 5.0 at some point, but based on how they are playing in this video, they look only 4.0 to 4.5.

  • Hey everyone-

When I watch this, yes the forehand does not look impressive..it's merely a 5 minute clip and I can assure you that is not my regular forehand. Come to the 5.5 NTRP Grand Prix Championship in Seal Beach in February (or better yet, sign up) and I'll see you there...

  • This looks more like lower 4.0. Not 5.0 or 5.5 though.

  • his forehand.....thats all I can say....

  • this is 3.5-4.0 tennis. The guy who won has a terrible forehand.

  • These guys are good. See, you can't see everything that goes on in a match. I'm a 5.0 player with a slow serve too. However, one time it will go down the middle and kick up in your face, and the next time it will push you wide and slice away from you. Placement and spin variation are critical.

People equate power with NTRP rating. This is not so. TONS of people hit harder than I do, but the last person to hit the ball IN the court wins the point. That's what watchers on the internet don't get.

  • We merely recorded this for us to enjoy and share with some friends. The consesus seems to be that we are not what we claim to be. If you are in the San Diego area, either one of us encourage you to step out on the court and play with us. The video does not do us justice, but I can assure you we will give anyone (outside of any touring pros) a competitive match. If interested, please post a comment as to how we can get in touch or better yet, we'll see you at the national hard court tourney,

  • wtf is this!!!!!

  • Speaking of a 4.0 player, other than the powerful first serve, a legit 4.0 player can control the placement of both first and second serve, and should be very confident with their forehand. that being said, these two guys are lower 3.5 player, and the winner is even weaker IMO.. Plus the pace of the match is too slow

  • No way these guys are 5.5

  • 5.5 hahahaha I would slaughter either of these guys and I'm a 4.5 at best.

  • 5.5 my arse....4.0 is the highest we can give. 5.5, LMAO - seriously.

  • un attractive grunts, nice concsistency though

  • This is 4.0 tennis . . . 5.5 players don't serve 70 mph 1st serves.

  • andy murray serves in the 70s sometimes

but I do agree, they are not 5.5s

  • Not sure that either of these guys are even 4.5 players.
