  • @wendepic : Kiitos! Tiedot löytyvät Kumun sivuilta setin 296 kohdalta. Kerro Pekalle terveisiä, kun laitat tilauksen vetämään! :)

  • Checked out the Kumu site. Absolutely gorgeous drums and the owner has most in-depth explanation on choosing the right drums for oneself. Those Superwoodhoops esp. look and sound fantastic.

  • Sounds great. I am looking into the H2, and I really like the sound you are getting. You are the first person that I have heard of that places it behind you.

  • Sweet playing. I adore your Kumu. out of curiosity, where exactly do you position your H2? I'm trying to get the best audio out of my Q3.

Btw, i'm sabian_HH from the PDF.

  • @EliGreenDrums : Thanks! The H2 is right behind my head, mics pointing toward the bass drum's batter head.

  • Great playing, and your drums sound great - what settings are you using on the H2 recorder to get such good quality sound?

  • @GraceC250 : 44.1kHz wav, low gain, but that's beside the point. To get a good sound, you need to make the instrument sound good and position the microphone in the right place.

  • Nice sounding drum!

  • Yea yea yea!!! Bravissimo

  • Am I right in saying that you have a bit of Keith Carlock in your playing? You have really nice phrazes.

  • @freddysheed : Yeah, his approach has had a big impact on my playing.

  • Nice! Kit sounds great!! Do you work on traditional grip alot!! I have thought about taking it on,but I have been playing matched all my life, and dont know if I want to take the time out of my practice schedule to work on it!

  • @bobbystockerdrums I play both and there really is no point in devoting a large amount of time to learning it. It's really just a feel thing there's really no major diffrence between the two.

  • @bobbystockerdrums : Thanks! I've never really practiced traditional grip per se, but I like to play with it every now and then. I don't think there are too many benefits in working on the traditional grip extensively, if you're used to playing with matched grip.

  • Kumu drums!

  • I dig the new setup.
