Our Irish Staffie puppy confronted the child gate, and then 30 seconds later just leaped right over it. The child gates are completely useless to us now, unless she doesn't REALLY want to put that much effort into it.

Irish Staffies are known to be really good jumpers. I've read that they can leap fences less than 7 feet high!

I'm not sure whether I'm sorry or happy for you that yours is more challenged in that regard, LOL! Probably you are lucky for that :-)
