These gloves are actually produced in the Twins factory in Thailand. I can assure that, but because they are synthetic leather, some people think they are not real Twins gloves. Of course, the quality isn't a question, but the material is not leather. So, some people think that they are knock offs. However, it is just a cheaper version that is produced by them. This is reflected in the cheaper price for them.
Ok. Don't have any personal experience with that brand. Be sure to wrap your hands if you aren't already. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.
These gloves are produced in Thailand and is one of the most popular gloves associated with Muay Thai. However, it isn't necessarily a boxing glove that is approved by AIBA or the olympic boxing committee. Regardless, these gloves are excellent quality and hyperextending your thumb would never be an issue. I wonder which gloves you use now that would cause that. I'm sure that they don't compare.
@budoland9 Thanks for your reply. I'll definitely order a pair of Twins. Well, it's partly my own fault, throwing bad hooks, missing the target and hitting with my thumb instead of my knuckles. But my current gloves sucks too, I don't know how my thumb can move inside so freely to actually get hyperextended. They are "Lonsdale" BTW.
I'm planning to get a new pair of boxing gloves. As far as I've heard twins gloves are designed for MT. So I was wondering are these also appropriate for original boxing? and I need an attached thumb and some kinda better protection, as I keep hyperextending my thumb while throwing a hook, very painful! So I don't know if these gloves provide good support or not.
Do you think the leather ones are better than skintax? Im asking because iam buying a new pair soon and iam willing to pay the 10 euros if their better :)
yeah first i did had my sights set on everlast protex gloves but apperantly their very difficult/ impossible to find in the Netherlands and i heard alot of good stuf about these gloves..
