I won't vote for McCain either. I completely agree. I also think that as long as the majority of the capital is in the hands of an elite minority we will never have a true capitalist economy. From your video where you quit posting, you sound a lot like you have read Wendell Berry. CREC people love him, they are very agrarian and I have met a few Orthodox who love him. I feel terrible to work on a computer all day and go home to write magazines on another one. I admire him for writing long hand.
Obama will be exposed and he will be brought down. He can not get away with his lies and smears. He is not at all what people want him to be. The Dems are not going to do a thing for you either. They are not the same party Bill Clinton was president of. They have gone way far left. Radicals, hate mongers, and a vicious smear machine runs them now. Obama and his do nothing congress with 17% approval rating aren't fit to lead.
Obama will definitely change the country. He will ban guns, take our defense system away so terrorist can bomb us, and make the US a socialist communist republic, increase our taxes, keep gas prices high, support killing babies. In Missouri, nobody is allowed to say anything bad about Obama because the police will prosecute them. What ever happened to Freedom of Speech? Obama is taking our rights away. Obama will ruin the country.
Neither are great candidates. McCain is a senile old man who has a knack for lying when it is politically opportune. He also can't stop drinking the neocon kool-aid. Obama's foreign policy is too hawkish, and he is too far left on cultural issues (though I don't believe they will play a big part of American politics over the next four years). Both have their faults, both have their strengths.
Please dont throw a baby at the end, that makes this situation look like its funny because its not. This is not a joke be dead serious about politics so when the time comes around you can get in a McCain lovers face and tell him/her off.
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. Ephesians 5:11 google video: clinton chronicles coke bush iraq for sale no end in sight bodyofwar c om patriotsquestion911 c om pilotsfor911truth o rg 911pressfortruth c om revolutionmarch c om
I think this will be another close election because there are alot of people who don't want another Rep b/c they dont want another George Bush. Yet there are alot of older people that wont vote for a woman or a black man. So they vote for Rep's. I just wish any candidate would fix the Iraq situation however that can be done. I think McCain wants out too, but is facing too much pressure from his party. The Dem's always introduce new taxes/social programs too.
Alot of times, the candidates aren't going to be 100% representative of somebody's personal values. Take me for example. I'm Catholic and against abortion, yet I vote Democrat because I feel that they are good for the Unions because they're opposed to big business. And the economy seems to do better when a Dem is in office. The Republicans always start wars and they support big business. Which is why I do not vote for them. Don't let others sway you either. Vote for who you want to.
After the 2001 Election, I almost feel like my vote doesn't count. The electoral college basically picked Bush even though Gore won the popular vote=BS. But by not voting you dishonor all the people all thru history that fought and or died for your right to vote. Just vote for the candidate you most agree with even if it isn't Dem or Rep. I hate the people that don't vote then bitch about how the Pres is an idiot. Your vote is always worth something.
I will vote. I always do. I just won't be a tool like the rest of the sheep that go to the polls to vote for the "lesser of two evils." I will vote my conscience, even if it means voting for someone who won't win. At least I'll be able to sleep at night knowing my vote wasn't wasted on a nominee who presumes that I am in their default category. You go ahead and do that. Leave voting your values to those of us who still have the convictions to stand up for what we believe in.
The name on a write-in will only be officially recognized if the person has registered as a write-in. Doing what you say would be no different than were I to hand them an empty piece of paper.
I love you zeal, but you need to familiarize yourself with the process.
OK, Paleocrat. If McCain were to pass away just prior to the convention and the GOP delegates had to choose the nominee. Anyone can be the nominee at that point. Who would you want it to be?
bowhaha i couldnt agree more. The media and the "polls" want people to think he cannot win. And thus far have succeeded. O well his campaign is only a part of this revolution. Were here america, and were not goin anywhere.
Its a shame that the American voter became enchanted with their allgeinces to their party rather than how the candidates agree to their values. I see many people who keep commenting that candidate Ron Paul does not have a chance and they should choose a candidate who has a chance to win. It's such a shame because you lose the right of your freedom to choose the candidate that suits your concerns most, to a candidate who has a chance to win according to the testimony of someone else.
Did McCain just drop out of the election tonight or am I missinformed?

His lies and smears? Which ones? I can point out a number of lies and smears from McCain-Palin and those who support them. Let's see...
1. Barack is a Muslim
2. Barack said he would side with Muslims.
3. Barack supports infanticide.
4. Barack wants to raise taxes on middle class
5. Barack doesn't want to feed the troops.
6. Barack opposes nuclear and coal energy
etc. etc. etc.
There are lies to go around, and Republican approval ratings are low. Which is why McCain is WAY behind.

Where do people get this idea that Obama is a Muslim?
When was the last time he entered a Mosque?
When was the last time he made Michelle wear a borka?
Some Muslim!

Restricting automatic weapons or bazookas maybe, but guns? Nah. Too many states (even Democratic southern and western states) wouldn't sign on.
Increase our taxes? That is a lie. Well, at least not for 95% of the country. Even McCain couldn't refute his position on that during the debate.
Keep gas prices high? His energy plan smacks of T. Boone Pickens.
Ignorant partisan alarmists (like you) frighten me. Worse yet, you're allowed to vote. Disagreement is fine, but making crap up is ridiculous
