@MickieLJamesfan19 I wasn't sure, several on here have said to eat it cooked in porridge, others said it's raw. I think it's also probably like a lot of food and differs per area.
i just bought a pack at our asian market but not sure how to cook it. the clerk said to cook it for 20 min. is it supposed to be served hot or room temp? hope you can answer.
Lol thanks everyone for commenting so far, just adding though I do respect cultural foods. Sadly this one did not please my sense of taste. Though other things normal Americans would consider odd often do. Insects so far seem to be my fav, I hope to review some prepackaged meal worms and crickets in flavor powder soon.
I guess it's one of those foods you have to grow up with. I love those eggs. You've supposed to eat it with a bit of vinegar (black not white) or you can put it in rice porridge.
@ca1cifer I think i may have gotten a bad one..is the inside of the yolk suppose to be like water runny? I noticed on the container it said keep refrigerated but the store that sold them had them out on the shelves..
@Perfectlyunnormal I have a really hard time telling when/if they're bad, but if it's actually water runny then you should just throw it out. I think it's odd that the container said to keep it refrigerated cause you shouldn't need to. I think you should give it another chance, but put it in congee/rice porridge next time. Also, you should probably go for a diff brand.
@Perfectlyunnormal yeah its not suppose to be running but the video shows u eatting looks about right. and ca1cifer is right these things u need to grow up with. or get use to. ur not suppose to eat it but it self add some rice porridge =] it means the taste less strong and more favor
This is called a century egg, but only made for about 30 days. Now i think its about time to change your reactions and the title.

To those asking about cooking it, I don't know I'd look up how to cook it. They told me to eat it uncooked, I think they was playing with me.
