id recommend that anyone who wants this sound but without the price get a peavey vtm and an avatar 212. sounds similar to this, but less than 600 dollars for both head and cab. btw its all tube
The VM. The JVM is over complicated, and its pretty pointless as each channel has three levels. The green level on clean is clean, but the orange level makes it crunch, and the red level makes it OD. WHats the point as there is already crunch and overdrive channels on the amp!!
yes, but i mean complicated as in half of it sounds the same. For instance, red clean is pretty much the same as green crunch. Red crunch is like orange or green OD1 and red OD1 is like OD2.
Yea but it means you can have loads of settings and gain levels that you can change for different songs at gigs and i still think it's a brill amp. Have you tried one??

Im 15 aswell, i played it in a big music warehouse store called pmt about 2 months ago and i played the vintage modern 100 watt head. Coinsidently i also own a 100watt marshall MG and the difference between solid state and all vlave is just amazing! I had the JVM on the OD2 channel about half gain on the red mode and the master at 1/4 it was LOUD i mean the amps that were stacked around it were ratteling lol. Absolutly fenominal amp :) VERY toneful.
$1349.99 50 Watt head @ Musicians's Friend. I'm thiking of trading in my TSL100 for the 100 watt version. The only problem is I think you can only use the 2 cabs made for this head and nothing else.But I'm not sure.
No, that's ridiculous. You can use any cab you want just like any other head. Who told you that? One of the music forum guys is running his through a Diezel cab.

mg's were built cheap, built to be speakers with gain.
if you want marshall, go for avt - or jvm if your made of money.
