I already read the first 5 chapters because someone got the deluxe edition of Angel early and posted it. Just in 5 chapters so much drama can happen!!
Plus the book was getting stupidly annoying with Max and Fang constantly being all over each other all the time. I think Angel was kind of a waste of time and the only important part of the entire book was when Fang's gang was introduced and when Angel got taken.
Maya isn't just a copy of Max. James states this over and over in Angel. I think Fang may have a Voice or someone (the same person that told him that there was a traitor in the group in one of the earlier books) told him he needs to save the world. Obviously the Flock wasn't going to survive if Max and Fang stayed together and it's a good thing they broke up. But I don't really like Dylan. Not because he took Fang's place (no one could ever take his place) but he doesn't fit in the story at all.

Fang, what happened to you? First you abandon the Flock, now you're getting all close with Maya. Quit acting like Maya's a different person, like she's not just a clone - because she is. She's just a copy of the real Max. You're in denial - you're still in love with Max. But I don't understand why you're giving up on her like this. it's not like you, Fang. It's not like you at all. Max would stop the world for you and you're just ignoring her, standing by and letting her slip away...why?
Fang isn't the problem. It's the AUTHOR. After the final warning, the series stopped making sense. I'm beginning to wonder if James Patterson writes them by himself, or his ghost writer is doing drugs. Seriously, Maya? There were other clones too, and other kids...what the hell happened to them? And their parents?
Technically, everything is the author's fault, isn't it? And you're right, let's face it: James Patterson just isn't a very good writer. And do you mean those mutant kids in the sewers? I think they were in the first or second book, right? Yep, they completely disappeared from existence. And what the hell was with the mutated whales that made magical snot bubbles? >.>
*Nods* Exactly! I think the issue is what his critics have been saying for years: Patterson writes his books like action movies. He does it for the thrill. Hopefully this will mean a good Maximum Ride movie when it comes out.

I love Fang as much as the next girl, and you all seem to be mad at him for leaving. But look at t from his point of view. A) He's got a point, the Erasers and scientists will try to get him in the process hurting others, if he stays nearby. B) He probably wanted to let Max have what she deserved. He THOUGHT that dylan was SUPPOSED to be with her, so he thought that he should get out of the way. Buty really Dylan isn't meant to be with Max. But I don't hate him. :)

i was mad about the whole max/dylan thing too, then i realized it would be better if fang and maya were a couple instead of him and max. he's been a real jerk, but if you go to his official facebook page (I'm pretty sure JP is the mod) it says he still has feelings for max. im thinking that they r gonna get back together(max and fang) but it's gonna take antother book or two so that ppl like us keep buying and spending more money on his stuff. this is just my prediction. wow this was long...

I can't even explain how mad and sad and agravated I was at Fang at the end of the book Fang!!!!!!! Now I'm kinda agravated at Max for falling for Dylan near the end of Angel!!!!!! I predict that James Patterson is going to kill off Dylan! Well I maybe not… I just hope so!!!!!!! Max+Fang= forever together!!!!!!!! I HATE YOU DYLAN!!!!!! in all honesties,i hate dylan. yeah, yeah,yeah-he was 'programmed' to love Max and vice versa, but i love fang!!! What bugs me is how Dylan was talking to him,telling Fang he needs to leave to keep them safe. Hes such a manipulative little *censored language*..........yeah....i dont like him much...

at the end, when max was reading the note, i started crying. i read it on a school night at like, 2 am, so i had to stop crying cuz i was making too much noise and i didnt want to get caught. :'(

everyone needs to stop a sec and think rationally : think why would a #1 bestselling author , suddenly "abandon" one of his best characters? TO PROMOTE THE BOOK! fang who we all love is going to come back, you know why ?, because he's the kind of romance character that brings in the big bucks , so stop going on about how you miss fang , get away from the tissue box and wait for the next book!

Dear Inconsiderate Readers,
I love Fang as much as the next girl, and you all seem to be mad at him for leaving. But look at t from his point of view. A) He's got a point, the Erasers and scientists will try to get him in the process hurting others, if he stays nearby. B) He probably wanted to let Max have what she deserved. He THOUGHT that dylan was SUPPOSED to be with her, so he thought that he should get out of the way. Buty really Dylan isn't meant to be with Max. But I don't hate him. :)
