Sorry, don't know where the jacket is from but nomally he doesn't wear leather (like the famous non-leather blue jacket). It looks like leather but it doesn't move like leather. From what I've read he tries to avoid anything that results from an animals' abuse.

This time, Jared declined her request, explaining his decision. In general, his point was - if a person gets greedy, having too many good things at once, it can turn into something bad; like having too much candy can destroy someone’s teeth, causing cavities to appear.

He is kind but it’s a big mistake to think that he is a pushover. With his quick mind and wicked sense of humour, he’s perfectly capable to protect himself against people with no manners whatsoever.
