Then You have Crimea which was never historically part of Ukraine but Khrushchev changed all that the peninsula to the the Ukrainian SSR. Let alone Crimea Most of Souther Ukraine and Black sea coast is also not Historically Ukraine. Ethnic minorities also want a voice in the 2nd largest country in Europe.
