@IROCwarriorAMC88 I hear you!! The carb conversion is good for the retro look or where a GREAT air flow is needed for BIG HP! Please check out the LS engine swap tab on our web site just chevy trucks dot com .Kurt.
Very nice. Very informative. Just to make sure I'm reading your reply correctly to Mrderbydog, the 6.0 with the carb conversion is 1700 to 2000? Or is that before the conversion? And just to clarify, when you say 6.0, you are referring to the LS2 correct? Just double checking. I'm not ready to purchase yet, but will be in the next few months and didn't want to waste your time on the phone. Figured you could answer here when you are not busy. Thanx for your time and info.
@JefFreezePerformance The 6.0 engines are $1700.00 to $2000.00 depending on mileage and these are 2001 to 2005 LS engines out of trucks & SUV's. This price is with a carb conversion (No Carb included). You will get everything in the video and picture on our web site. A call to the shop to speak with Stuart or Kurt would not be a waste of time when your ready. The EFI packages are all the rage right now and are the same price.
@Justchevytrucks Awesome news. Thank you very much for your info. I WILL be calling to make an order very soon. I can finally rest my worries a little. Thank you again for your time.
What kind of motor mounts and exhaust manifolds do u use Im catching hell even trying to find someone In Houston to even dare dropping the LS engine In my 81 c-11
@jamesyoung123 The stock exhaust maniflods are going to be close if not perfect! The engine mounts are another story. There are many different positions to mount these engines in. Most mounts want you to move the tranny forward by 1" others move the engine back 1" to mate with the tranny... problem is, will the engine hit the firewall. The engine mounts are a "Try it" thing.
How much do you charge to build one of these motors? I'm think about trying to find a 6.0 ls out of a corvette or caddy. To build for a demolition derby car motor.
@Mrderbydog The 4.8 or 5.3 engines are $1200.00 to $1400.00 and the complete 6.0 engine is $1700.00 to $2000.00 All of this is depending on mileage. Give Stuart a call at the shop and he can give you a deal! 603-335-3350
YOU CAN HUNT THE LOCAL YARDS AND GET A LS MOTOR CHEAP YOU CAN BUY THE LS CARB STUFF AT JEGS OR SUMMIT AND GET INTO IT CHEAP DON'T BE A DUMMY SAVE YOUR CASH BUILD IT YOURSELF

Could you put a gm hot camp in it, if I was to want one?
Mrderbydog 7 months ago
@Mrderbydog No, we don't do that stuff here. We're not engine builders. You could very easily install the cam in a couple hours though.
