Great video nothing wrong with scrapping even cans I do it. Do not get as many as you did takes me about week or two to get that much. I remember when aluminum was only .40 cent or so held on to them and now its back to .62-.65 per pound average $10-$15 bucks a trip when I go, but its hard for me to wait and do not have much room to store them. Your right even if it pays for gas hey its free gas and at the price it is now I am happy with that.
I collect junk appliances from fixing up rental houses I make 60 bucks a load in my pickup truck just a regular truck bed I mop up $160 in just 3 loads and if I see a old washer or dryer fridge setting out somewhere like on trash day its gone I take it or any Metal like old tire rims and bikes and old wire or pluming pipes Copper the golden ticket is copper I strip that stuff out and seperate it get more for that man fast and easy free money I pay all my gas with just that .
@1968DodgePolara Copper is where its at kinda hard to find where I am, and I hear some go and rip it out of new houses not a fan of breaking the law for a few bucks.
@ComputerTechTV Nothing Makes me Madder than a thief. Yeah I heard stuff happens like that people going in New homes that are being built ripping out all the newly installed pluming during the night just so some PUNK can makes him few hundred dollars and don't give a crap that he caused $10,000 damage and reinstalling the pluming that the owner has to pay for.
Not sure if I am understanding the math.
65 cents per pound = 30 cans crushed cans
05 cents per can x 30 = 1.50 returned deposit cans
Why don't you return them and get more money for your work.
