"its bad enough you sell your waking life but they get your dreams for free." ahh I always feel like that when i have one of those working dreams. Like I should have been paid.

Meh...it was okay. It was just a little pretentious and didn't really change the way I think. People think they're so cool when they "look at reality in a different way", but it's really nothing amazing.
And I agree with the guy who said it was "draining". It was well-polished and all, but it was just very hard to watch.
my philosophy teacher always uses the metaphor " a lucid dreamer within the cosmic dream" to help describe how what we percieve to be "reality" is actually stemming from ourselves...it reminds me of this movie
and this scene makes me want to learn the uke, it's so pretty!
a lot of it was painfully obvious, but to see it all on screen seemed to confirm that I'm not really alone with my thoughts. that's why I loved this movie.
I have yet to watch this, but I watched A Scanner Darkly, that hit me real deap. The rotoscoping is perfect for these types of movies too. A Scanner Darkly is probable one of the best movies I've seen.
Hell, with this movie you either love it or hate it. I personally loved it, it sparked a lot of things for me to think about and that's why I think it's awesome. I love being a curious person, and that movie reminded me why.
why are these movies animated?...

I ADORE this scene, maybe it's not the most complicated or mind blowing, but it's just beautiful, the music, the words, adore it.

This movie changed the way i think.
I dont even know how to explain it.
Before this movie i had never thought about some of this stuff, now after seeing it its all im interested in.
See this movie if you like philosophy and psychology type stuff.
If your looking for a typical guy falls in love with girl or action packed movie, go somewhere else and stop dissing on this masterpiece.
