  • id like to see the twin turbo W12 car built by the russian shop tow an antonov that'd be scary

  • A c63 amg can pull an airbus

  • Many cars can do this

  • So like this thing actually did this? It isn't just meant to look like it was doing this?

  • @codymiller1994

no it was actually done. this touareg actually holds the record for most ever towed by a car/vehicle

  • @1alex1m That is pretty freaking amazing then!

  • this is a fail

  • @kulka2000r this is not a fail

  • NOW PULL A ANTONOV 12

  • This Was shown in Discovery Turbo

  • An225, thats a challenge, take off weight of 1,000,000lb

  • I think the kind of this 747 is V6 :P

  • yeah...whatever....but...it's a SUV...I want it offroad

  • how many hp??

  • @TheVictor1217ful it could be 2 versions.

it could be the 6.0 W12 engine producing 450HP and 600N-m of torque

but its more likely to be the 5.0 V10 TDI with 300HP and 750N-m of torque because its the torque that matters most if you tow something

  • a mercedes ml would make it fly :)

  • @crazcarlove82 dont be daft an ml wouldn't pull you out of bed.

  • This plane is at the Top Gear Test Track.

  • But, does the Tuaregs clutch still work well? XD

  • @TheDanSchumi

    Automatic. ;-)

  • does EVERY ad involving a 747 use the top gear track?

  • @anthyman1 because top gear is awsome

  • @jimmyjimjim4567 good point

  • thats the top gear 747 innit?

  • What's the big deal? A man pulled a boeing 767 with just himself...

  • now that is not a car... now its a pushback XD

  • Comment removed

  • the plain is probably made of cardboard...

  • po tym holowaniu :P

  • Ciekawe jak wyglada sprzeglo w tym Touaregu

  • It that Chuck Norris's car! :O

  • Touareg pulls or 747 push ? :)

was mein alter benz ohne probleme geschafft hat

  • @SirWallace2 Actually 155tons, see the 5th Gear video "Fifth Gear: VW Touareg Tows A 747" for more information. They also reveal that it was actually a Mercedes G in a Touareg outfit :D

  • :D now! full throttle on the plane and take that volkswagon for a ride! ^.^

  • i just wana see the pilot of the 747 tap his brakes and watch the volkswagon's frame bend

  • next time try pulling the antonov 225

  • @TacoBoba .... But the Mercedes or Porsche never dare attempted such an experiment... Volkswagen, Adolf Hitler's 'People's car' rocks

  • @shibanqkut ,,, FOR UR KIND INFO, THIS 747 HAS BEN MOVED FROM THE SERVICE, BUT EVEN WITHOUT THE ENGINES, THE 747 IS PRETTY MUCH HEAVY, WAY HEAVIER THAN OTHER AIRCRAFTS, AND WHEN THIS EXPIRIMENT WAS CARRIED OUT ITS HUGE FUEL TANKS WERE FILLED WITH WATER .... GERMAN ENGINEERING IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD......

  • @shibanqkut if you see 1:48 the engines of the plane aren't workin'

  • @makisz9 They look like there working to me. I think it's just camera tricks.

  • Got torque? :D

  • near the "top gear circuit"

  • no way.. they accelerated the 747!

  • static friction is that low, you could pull it with a bunch of nerds.

  • I am truly sorry for the clutch LoL

  • /watch?v=ZiestvrumYM

    /watch?v=tls-Jli6eQE&feature=related

    The car isn't that amazing..........

  • ok! So you can pull it, but how do you stop it ? =))

  • fake

  • Well....I don't know....looks hard to believe... if it is true than bravo VW... if not.....well bravo too cuz it looks cool :)

  • Tuyệt vời

  • It's a VW what do you expect ?:)

  • thats a 747 but its got the engines to close thats why it can pull it

  • This video proves nothing... Check out this vid, a guy pulls a jet by his own strength! World's Strongest Man - In History - Heaviest Plane Pull World Record 1/3 Million lbs. 767 Jet

  • Now do the A380

  • lol then the an-225 on a single tank of gas

  • full of passengers and luggages..

  • @sangolt88 an-225

  • @sangolt88 with an audi q7 v12 tdi :D

  • @sangolt88 The Airbus isn't much heavier. But I get the point.

  • what's the music

  • geile Triebwerke

  • It's the plane used in Casino Royale, and it is also coincidentally the plane at the top gear test track, Dunsfold Park.

  • how to break xD

  • Great marketing campaign, even if the engines are fake and so on, 155 tonnes is still good weight to pull.

  • this 747 has been modified for the 007 Casino Royale movie

  • this isnt fake. i saw it on Fifth Gear on Discovery Channel

  • its a newer plane stupid

  • the plane has been modified for casino royale, watch it n see you fucking remt

  • Doge suck, GM suck, Ford suck. GO GERMAN, ENGLISH, AND JAPANESE!!

  • You suck too :p

  • jealous of german and jap cars eh

  • well obviouly you dont know what you are saying! i agree that gmcs suck but fords

  • WHat's with the funy engine arrangement on the 747?

  • This plane is G-BDXJ, an ex-British Airways 747 that now belongs to a company specialising in supplying planes as movie props. The plane starred in 'Casino Royale' in 2006 and the engines were replaced by what you see now. Wikipedia has more information I think.

  • And the aircraft is about 35 tons lighter than a "normal" 747 ... but still heavy lol ;-)

  • @volvomantom

maybe they putted double engines to fit extra fuel tanks on the previous engine brackets?

anyway it looks cool with twin engines

  • @lordvader3215

it doesnt make a difference, just uses less material

  • @lordvader3215 This was the plane used in James Bond and for some reason they changed the engines.

  • @lordvader3215 that was for the james bond movie Casino Royal

  • Awesome. Now once you get it rolling slam your brakes on and see what happens.

A vehicles towing capacity is almost always based on how much weight it can STOP (which is normally based on the vehicle's weight, and frame strength). A SATURN could pull a sized trailer once you get it rolling. Good luck stopping it.

  • i wounder if an h1 can do it

  • eh sapessi quanto ci vuole... quei baracchini bianchi che ci sn all'aereoporto trainano aerei ben piu grossi... anke una panda 750 ce la farebbe..

  • hmmm a german car :) V10 Turbo-Direct-Injection

  • TDI is TURBO DIESEL INTERCOOLER

  • turbo direct injection

  • touareg <3

  • this is not fake at all!this is pure power !!!!

  • THis wasnt fake, there was a top gear episode where they did this.

  • Planes at airports are not moved about with street cars aznturtle1. With 554 ft lbs of torque, yeah, the Touareg can pull the jet, and could probably pull your house off its foundation. 0-60 in 7.5 seconds too. The V10 TDI simply rocks.

  • of course it can pull it it has wheels and how do ppl at the airport push back a 747 from the gate

  • That 747 is fake. The Engines aer way different.

  • Actually mate they're just dummy engines, replaced for safety reasons. The fuel was also replaced with water, also for safety reasons. It still weighed 155 tonnes, and it was still pulled by a road car.

  • hahahaha as if!

  • bist du dummm

  • well if man can pull one surely a car can

  • Touareg rules! Trust me-I have one in my garage.

  • it may be just a VW, but it's got a German-engineered V-10 (which is also made for Audi's)...it also makes sense that the jet's engines were replaced with mock-ups, b/c had those been the real ones, that jet would've been way too heavy (the VW may have tugged it a foot or two, but that would've been it)

  • my ass

  • ha the planes got extra fuel tanks on the side like it needs it it could fly across the world and still have fule to make short hopp

  • So does the B-52....

  • but it does not need it

  • was this done at the Top Gear track from BBC????

because that planes looks like the one at the track

  • anasını sıkıyım:)

  • its a 747-200 with its engines replaced with mock-ups..............

  • Was ist daran jetzt so besonders?

  • Poor car..!! ..... i want it!:D

  • what is the name of the music?

  • I wish my car could pull a 747. Oh wait, it can.

  • is that touareg a tdi?

  • The engines, were taken off, and placed like that for the new james bond film, this is the aircraft you see in the background on Top gear often

  • i read that exactly this aircraft has been rent for the new james bond movie....

  • What type of beoing 747 is that? I never seen that before. Usually the two engine are apart

  • Maybe it's used as a test bed for the new GE GenX engines

  • thats not a boeing 747 thats a airbus

  • do you know the name of it? it look like an boeing 747.

  • i dont know the name of the airbus but the airbus is now not availeble for human people its now only for mail or cars of other things mayby this year can human people fly with a airbus
