my elder sis saw this on TV & say "wow, they are pretty good & very synchronised"...I was like this should be one of their most unsynchronised perfs already cos I realise that their most synchronised perfs will be in their MVs & comeback perfs. I did some quick research online after watching a video from a korean ELF. And from one of the website (EDaily), it states that SJ sold 131,956 as of 8 Dec 2010, whereas SNSD sold 123,318. Even with their repackaged album, SJ sold 45,412 + 45,412 (B album) but SNSD sold 56,543. Even though the popularity voting which accts for 20% of the Daesang, SJ came in first with 34.5% as on 6 Dec 2010 and SNSD was 2nd with 22,9%. That's a big diff in both. So..WHY DID SJ LOST TO SNSD? T

I read in allkpop that GDA calculates the total figures from album sales & digital sales for the year, which means there's no voting by fan. SNSD had 2 hits (excluding Hoot) - Oh! and RDR and both were heavily promoted. However, SJ only had Bonamana and their follow up song (No Other) was not as heavily promoted as RDR (which was a follow up song for their Oh! album). I think that boast SNSD's album & digital sales. Nevertheless, they from SM. So we shld all be happy for them.
