what is unfortunate about the wedding being asian rather than american? if i were to marry an asian person i would prefer an asian wedding than an american wedding.
I'm sorry to correct you but statistically it is more popular and it is more socially accepted for black men to marry asian women - black women are the least married overall and I believe it definitely has to do with the negative stereotyping and racialization of the gorgeous black female body.
1st generation is the actual immigrants and 2nd generation is the ones who are born in that country there :) also, we refer ppl who immigrated as teens or younger and grew up in that country as 1.5 generations
