I have no clue what happened at the end, because of my lack of knowledge of the Japanese language, but I think the final boss had an epic spaz attack.

Yeah, tell me about that, RocMegamanX... mainly to the point where he is already so pissed off and then some at the fact that the boss' partner in crime was killed off by my attacks in this shmup.

And, since Pleasure Hearts was originated in Japan for the MSX2/MSX2+/MSXturboR systems at the time of game development, the ending was only in Japanese text, which made it hard to understand for non-speakers of the Japanese language... some interesting visuals would have been helpful, though. ;)
