  • que anitiguo

  • i dont know if it sounds better slower or faster, slower you can hear the guitar riff better and it sounds abit more funkier

  • Picture is of Todd, Jay, Les

Recording is with Todd, Les and Curve on drums. 1987

  • The guy in the middle looks like Mike Watt. I assume that is Todd Huth?

  • @12toedfeet thats jay lane todd huth is on the right.

  • It's sad to say, but I am quite sure the quality of the cassette version is MUCH better than this.

  • @xxxlxt

look at the upload date, yt was still only 240p in 2006. a shame cause alot of the primus live and rare stuff on here was uploaded quite a while ago

  • she came sliiiiedin down the alley way like butter drippin of a hot biscuit.... the aroma THE MEAN SCENT!

  • I thought Les's voice was high nowadays!

I really like this version more than the one on Seas of Cheese.

  • Awesome post!!

This is why i love hearing stuff like this, you can hear how the song, and the musicians themselves for that matter, changed.

  • it sounds awfully like when you slow it down on windows media player, i dunno if this is real or not

  • Oh it's definitely real!

  • I learned this song on bass a while ago and I can say it is significantly more difficult to make sound good while playing slow like this. Much easier fast.

  • this is very true.

  • i actually find it easier to make it sound good playing it slow than fast. idk.

  • Not likely to be Jay...

  • I think it is Perm Parker, listen at 0:20 - 0:22.

  • @SwedishMeatball93

I don't know if Perm was still playing with them when they recorded stuff. My guess would be Tim "Curveball" Wright. This doesn't sound like Jay Lane to me.

The style of drumming reminds me of the Easter Egg on the Animals DVD where Curveball is playing Sgt. Baker.

  • his voice squeeked like hell at the end

  • I'm gonna say that is possibly Tim Wright on drums...don't think that is Jay Lane

  • if this is their PRIMATE NOT SAUSAGE demo tape then Perm Parker was their drummer

  • Wow this sounds like the shit slowed down.

  • Sausage shudda did an album of some their original primus songs, you no like thrown on a sausage tommy the cat, is it luck shit like that. The toys is fucking amazing on riddles

  • they where never ever sausage they where primate then primus and called the name of the band sausage in the 94 album becuz there was already a primate and a primus and they where only primate for a short time...

  • A fine example of music evolution.

  • Even if this is old and a little slow groove damn awsome!

  • L daiS yD

  • its like its being played through something slow and sloppy like treacle or something, theres treacle in my speaker!

  • HOLY CRAP this is slow, it doesnt get nearly as much of a feeling this slow. Still amazing tho

  • I likes it. Been a Primus fan since '89. Never heard this groove like that. Pretty awesome.

  • good point

  • wow they used to play this so slow, i wonder how in the world they got this to groove at this speed
