i know from experience you need a 1 pistol 1 rapid fire weapon either plasma laser or regular bullet gun, a power weapon I.E *incinerator, mini gun, to cut down on weight just invest most of your money into your primery weapons also helps to have good repair so you can keep them good

The Lonesome Drifter has the unique .44 magnum.The Mysterious magnum. Which is awesome because of its holster/draw music. You can kill him, pickpocket him, shoot it out of his hands or get it as a reward from the quest Talent Pool if you have a high enough barter I think. Maybe speech.

for those of you that dont know at 15:00 you can kill that black dude and get the mysterious magnum, its a uique 44. magnum that playes a guitar sound every time you draw and or holster it. Its a very easy to get, very powerful weapon early in the game.
